  2. Greer must be about forty by now. Hardly one for the future and as far as I can see his only qualification to play for Scotland is that he plays in The Championship down south.
  3. Working for myself these days comes at a high cost, meaning this is actually going to be my first game of the season, but at least I've made it before August is out Not really sure how this one will go, and right now would settle for any kind of win to keep the 100% record going afore the Pigs (copyright Malmo) come a calling. Think we will leave with a further three points in the bag, but it might not be very pretty. In Pub in the Weeg Away support Back down the M77 1-0 (Considine)
  4. Confused by this. Thought McMaster worked for us as a scout in the Glasgow area ?

  6. More in hope than anticipation, but c'mon the Killie.
  7. Title of this thread frightened me as I thought it was going to be about the ex Engerlund U21 internationalist upon whom we spunked either £75k or £100k depending on which story you believe. Have to say it is a lovely story. Have always thought that Wright @ St Johnstone conducts himself with a fair degree of dignity and is a decent fellow.
  8. You tell him boy.
  9. 100% with that Stooge. Again I have absolutely no inside knowledge, but genuinely do believe that Stevie May will be an Aberdeen player by 1st September.

  11. Like the look of The Unknown Terrorist and might give that a go. Only thing putting me of it is that I bought one of Flanagan,s other books "The Narrow Road To The Deep North" and frankly just couldn't get into it and gave up before I was half way through it.
  12. Reading this article on BBC website, I can see how you'd interpret it that way, but I don't necessarily think that's what is meant Jute. Think they are merely covering their arses in case the mystery injury is either Jack or McGinn. Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has one injury concern but will not reveal the identity of the player ahead of the return leg with Kairat Almaty. The Dons trail 2-1 from last week's Europa League qualifying visit to Kazakhstan. If fit, Niall McGinn and Ryan Jack are certain to return to the starting line-up, having been used as substitutes in Sunday's win at Dundee United. Defender Mark Reynolds is a long-term absentee for the hosts. Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes: "We feel ready for it. "We felt ready for it last week and we're certainly ready for it tomorrow. "We're not prioritising one competition over the other. We know the financial rewards for getting through this tie and hopefully beyond. We want to do well in all competitions. "You have to adjust as the game unfolds but the fundamentals being you still need to stop good players having time to play. "When good players have time on the ball as they have, it can be a problem. "We just want to make sure we try and apply a bit more pressure all over the pitch from start to finish, really. "There is an obligation to try and stop the opposition, frustrate the opposition but also try and impose ourselves on them so they have to do a bit more work as well."

  14. Great post, couldn't have put it better myself. Thought Smith grew into the game and was a little unlucky to be taken off when he was, however the introduction of our three subs saw us step up a level. Delighted that McLean is coming good, never any doubt in my mind, and currently top scorer in Scottish football unless I am mistaken. On Ushited, I would honestly say the only player I would possibly take from them would be Soutar, and even then would be buying potential rather than the finished article.
  15. Told you
  16. Not quite sure how this will pan out. Jacqueline will have them pumped up knowing how much we hate them. Expect them to come out of the traps flying and sense we might need to ride the storm and work our way into the game. Although three points would be preferable, I am going for a one each draw.
  17. Totally missed this one.
  18. Out M6 Birmingham (work) Work 1.1 (McGinn)
  19. Jack Harper joins Brighton on two year contract from Real Madrid.
  20. Mizer would have done a pie chart !
  21. Delighted to be wrong with score forecast, and also delighted with prediction that MacLean would score
  22. Shankland can't be allowed to go anywhere without us bringing in an experienced striker either permanently or on season loan. Don't fancy going through the season without this, as an injury to Rooney and we're fucked for back up.
  23. Well the bookies seem to have written us off in this one with longer odds on us than recent games against the victims at the Tattiebowl. Reckon we might just cause a little shock in this and going for a score draw. Need to keep it tight for first half hour and work our way into the game. Even an odd goal defeat, as long as we get away goal would be a good result and surely guarantee a full house for the return. Out Work Watching on Premier Sports Bed 1.1 ( MacLean to break his duck in spectacular fashion).
