  1. Hear what you're saying but don't necessarily agree. We are a bigger club in the context of our league, than Stoke are in theirs. Accordingly I don't think our expectation levels are too high in Scotland. Most supporters I know would be happy with top three or four year after year and the odd cup win. Given the lebghty list of those club's to have won either League or Scottish Cup since our last trophy, I seriously don't think that is unreasonable expectation.
  2. Pretty much sums up what is wrong with the Premiership. A team like Stoke finishing mid table is an achievement in my eyes. Expectation levels are rediculous at some of these clubs.

  6. Was going to say, hate to say I told you so, but you what....fuck that delighted to say I told you so a good couple of years ago.......
  7. MBT.....not the only one who has got the first correct, just hope the second part of mine doesn't come true. I was in a customer meeting in the Weeg when I got the text, and let out a very loud YES Some guy who claims he follows the howkers, says in response, is he the boy that Celtic let go. Just goes to show how current he actually is on Scottish football.
  8. broon noser............ -1
  9. Fucking brilliant album.....hard to believe it is thirty seven years ago Really was Blackmore, Dio & Powell at their peak. Not too many heavy rock albums contain a track featured a Philharmonic Orchestra on it
  10. Again........ MBT - You find your copy in the garage
  11. You pissed this early in the day o'er your side of the canal
  12. Alternatively he'll sign on with the minimum of fuss and we'll punt him to the first party that offers £250k with the cash being utilised to reduce long term debt.
  13. Speculation today we are in for him. Disagreeable, niggly little runt, but no a bad player and certainly not afraid to get stuck in Could provide the "dig" in next season's midfield Discuss
  14. Just a further thought, thought the keeper we signed earlier this year was on a two year deal. Patently not, if he is being released, unless we are paying him off
  15. In keeping with other I'd have kept Ossie, I know he is injury prone and therefore a risk, but one worth taking in my opinion. Interesting however that I believe his family are stil ldown south, so might be something to do with the lenght of deal he was looking for Feel sorry for Milsom, good footballer in there and was playing well pre the little ex Hun cunt taking him out at Pittodrie when he injured himself and we were all supposed to feel sorry for him. Feel he has never come close to that level since he came back from that injury, so probably right thing ot do at the end of the day. No real surprises with the rest of those released and a fair few quid off the wage bill. Going to need a few decent signings over the summer, our midfield in particular is going to be threadbare as things stand. All in all, hat off to McInnes, bold move and what has potentially been required for some time now. Going to be a different looking AFC side that takes the field for pre season friendlies.
  16. Would agree, cheated out of three points. Several knobheads on inferior site already delighted to get the chance ot put the boot into our "weegie" manager
  17. Ossie looked very comfortable on Sat playing in central defence. Fair likes a a pass back though, which could be (and was on one occassion) problematic with Clangers behind him. If kept fit he really could be a key player for us I've always liked Milsom, but looked out of sorts when he came on on Saturday
  18. Or has he been too pissed to turn up on a Saturday
  19. How has this season gone for Red Star ? Not seen any updates from you
  20. Well have seen the highlights and guess what....a.n.other incompetent decision by an official. Helen player at opposite side of the penalty area playing Hayes onside by a good few feet.
