Fucking hell Kow....they're taking his body on tour
  2. Ok a day ahead of schedule, but hey ho, worthy of posting early. 16th March will be the 30th anniversary of the greatest night ever witnessed at Pittodrie. To those like myself lucky enough to have been there, we were lucky bastards to have witnessed it. To those that didn't witness, trust me when I say there has never been anything since that has even come reomtely close to it since. Good article on offishal site about it. Who would have thought thirty years on how dramatically different the two club's fortunes would be. Thanks for the memory
  3. Roger Waters - The Wall (Live In Berlin)
  4. Steve Kean is statistically Blackburn Rovers second worst manager sine 1992 with only Paul Ince being unable to better his 28% win rate.
  5. My weight is the same now as the day I got married Guess I've always been a fat bastard
  6. Totally agree, some of the personal stuff directed towards him was completely over the top. Thought he kept his calm and dignity extremely well.
  7. Just NO........... What about Steve Kean ? Awful record as manager at Blackburn, but was he thrown in the deep end too soon. Highly thought of as a coach, and with an experienced mentor (Broon) could he make it ? Is he too high risk ? Would he be remotely interested ?
  8. Could of course result in putting him back on the potential list to replace Broon
  9. There are teams I dislike more than other, but there is only one mob who hatred is reserved for, so only cast one vote for the Oirish Mob from the East End
  10. FFS...consider yourself slated. Few months of that and you'd be screaming for Broon to get the job back and play one up front at home
  11. Not going to slate you for it, but far from convinced about Adams being the right man for the job. I'm with Kowalski (fucking hell must stop agreeing with him all the time) in that if Avril gets it, then my Saturdays are taken care of. Golf will win every single week.
  12. Sensible decision, works for both parties. Thanks for taking us back from the brink under Dingus. Pity it stalled latterly.
  13. You'd be surprised Manc...... have been known to listen to 6Music a fair bit whilst working from home, but find it a bit hit or miss to be honest. Probably more inclined to listen to Radio Caroline as better idea of what I'm likely to get.
  14. Interesting article http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/the-rundown/seven-premier-league-bosses-suffered-same-brutal-sacking-183724944.html
  15. My sentiments also. Was just saying last night that I am losing interest in football with each passing week. Having regularily attended football for over forty five years, I seriously wonder if I'm reaching the stage where I could be lost to it. I really fear for the future, not only of Scottish football but football in general.
  16. Hear what your saying brother BUT it is a big step up coming from the Championship to EPL. I'm not convinced that unfashionable teams like Reading, Southampton and prior to them others like Blackpool are ever going to make inroads. I merely think that your McDermotts of the world deserved to see the season through. I'd hazard a guess that Reading would have been most folks banker to get relegated anyway, so surely wouldn't have been a massive shock if they were.
  17. Think the treatment of both McDermott and the ex Southampton manager typify what is wrong in football nowadays. Taken an unfashionable club into England's top divison and punted during the season. The goal for these guys was always going to be no lower than 17th position come end of the season. Should at least have been given the courtesy to see that through. Hope they get relegated now.
  18. Agreed.....fair enough criticising players and christ knows some of them seriously deserve it, but that is fucking awful.
