  1. If Michael Johnstone follows through on his comments of yesterday, then I'm never setting foot again in Rugby Park as will refuse to pay to get in there. Lets see if his one possibly two games a season against the Huns manage to keep his club afloat
  2. Can't be ersed checking back sixty one pages on this subject matter, but has anyone actually highlighted Bill Miller's two previous attempts to purchase a British football club. This man has history.......agreed deals on seperate occassions to purchase Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere Rovers previously and at last minute walked away when it came to handing over the cash. This guy could yet, and very probably will leave Der Hun well and truely up shot creak without a paddle
  3. Sure are mate, both of them die hard Dons fans, my eighteen year old in particular
  4. Anyone asked fans of Sheffield Wednesday or Tranmere Rovers what they think of Mr Miller
  5. I didn't bother going. My younger son did He got a free ticket And even then thought twice about it
  6. as do I.......Think I've already pretty much said what Bobby did, only his is far more eloquent
  7. Dave, I'd genuinely love to think that they would be, but you know what, I still don't actually believe that the message will be getting through. As a club we only seem to be able to stumble from one crisis to another. Every time we see a chink of light and take one step forward we very quickly take two backwards. I have stuck by this team since I first went to see them at the age of five some forty five years ago. I've seen the good times, and prior to them I also saw some bad times. I've never contemplated turning my back on them. Over recent years if I'd still stayed in Aberdeen I'd have continued to go week in week out. Maybe I've been too loyal to them as of the crowd of guys I went to games with in the early 80's have dropped away one by one to the extent that none of them are now season ticket holders. It would be unheard of me not to make the ten minute trip to Rugby Park on Saturday for our visit, but you know what I'm going to play in my club medal instead. Frankly no fucker in Pittodire gives a fuck, so why should I. No doubt at the start of next season, a little excitement will kick in, but how long will that last Any fucker that parted with hard earned cash last night to get in to watch that shower of gutless fuckers frankly deserves certifying.
  8. Supposedly signed three year contract extension on revised terms. If true surely club will officially announce this afternoon.
  9. Never mind David, Jeremy would probably be an improvement on most of them except Vernon
  10. The similarity comment was Broon's not mine Bobby I agree with you, in that I always thought Clarkson was a half decent player. Sure he moved south for around £800k. Imagine us actually having a player nowadays that could command that level of fee in the transfer market.
  11. Feel sorry for the lad, I genuinely thought he looked like a half decent player (well at least by our standards) prior to him picking up the bad injury. Wish him all the best for whatever the future holds for him
  12. Got to say having seen his first goal from last night, it wasn't too shabby either
  13. What a pile of utter shite. Paying their bills before Whyte took control....I don't think so. All Whyte's fault....don't think so, Murray couldn't get out the door quick enough with his £1. Need to fund the cost of a QC.......would have thought that such is the loyalty of their support, that there would be some bent Masonic QC prepared to work for nothing for the cause. Sanctions making then non competitive.......M'mmm tough shit Sandy, you've enjoyed an unfair competitive advantage for long enough anyway, welcome to the other side of the coin. Rather play in Third Division than accept sanctions and remain in SPL.....jog on Huns, think we'd all be happy enough with that.
  14. Even as a Newcastle supporter I'd put Pardew down as surprise of the season. Ashley must hardly be able to believe his luck in getting the fans off his back.
  15. No surprise there. Exactly as predicted in my opening post in "Last out of Pittodrie tonight" thread. Could possibly be even worse to come yet.
  16. Absolutely stunning strike. Fantastic signing by Newcastle. Punt Carroll for £35m and replace him with Ba and Cisse for less than £10m
  17. Yes please Carte blanche then for the authorties to close the shit hole down once and for all
  18. Completely lost for words
  19. Broon not interested, too similar to what we already have.
