  1. Read the latest Stuart MacBride book. Can't really say that I overly enjoyed it. Think there is getting too much of a sameness about them now. The one liners from DCI Steele etc are just getting repetitive. Maybe just me, maybe others think differently, but I won't be rushing to read the next one. Now moved on to J K Rowling " The Casual Vacancy". Never read any the Harry Potter books, but knowing what I know about them, there is something weird about reading some of the language she uses in this.

  8. Hasn't gone anywhere yet. Aspirations are Championship or top of League One. No mention of a return to SPL.
  9. Bumping his gums in today's papers about having to go out on loan to get some game time, as claims frozen out at Wigan by Coyle...... Grass greener and all that
  10. Tell you what Dave.......you've got too much time on your hands min Seriously though, who'd have thought by second week in October Pawlett would have spent the fourth most time on the pitch of our outfield players

  13. In the 1988–89 season, he transferred to the now defunct Rangers but injuries restricted him to only seventeen league appearances. In the summer of 1990, he re-joined Aberdeen but was never fit to play. Next season he signed for Reading but after only seven appearances moved to Dunfermline Athletic where he at last was able to play regularly. After three seasons in the First Division, he moved into management with Ross County

  22. Amazing how you forget certain things with the passage of time, like the fact that we actually took Cooper back to Pittodrie after his spell with them, even though he never actually played for us during that second spell.
  23. Great post Bobby. Just spent the last half hour watching that. Fair brings back the memories, and you and the Rocket are right, Neale Cooper was running about lashing out like a fucking maniac particularly in the first half.
