  1. Another two from Shankland. Seems to be fair knocking them in at that level
  2. Not trying to make excuses and not trying to be overly pedantic, but strictly speaking Farts are only bottom of the league on account of no longer being able to cook the books, so in truth you could argue we have taken four points out of six against the bottom two. Still not good enough, and no point in taking six out of six against Well & ICT and not beating the likes of Helen
  3. Not long in.....what can I say about that. A massive disappointment from start to finish. No idea what was going on playing Vernon & Zola together upfront. Where was the silky smooth passing game of last Wednesday night ? Too many players hiding/posted missing all night. Still puzzled by the half time substitution of Low for Vernon Thought the longer the game went on, the better we made them look, and they were fairly shite. Zola isn't going to work in Scottish football, already a marked man by referees, whilst the likes of Steven Thompson gets away with fouling at will. All in a piss poor night, but reckon we'll play a lot better this season and still lose, so onwards and upwards
  4. As Alphonse Karr famously once said: "The more things change, the more they stay the same" No real surprise there
  5. Think writing is an achievement in itself...surely you don't expect intelligence

    Ryan Gauld

So is this boy the real deal or over hyped ? See the story about allegedly being on the radar of Real Madrid seems to be cropping up all over the place now. Can't really say I know too much about him. Kind of happy if someone else's player is getting all the attention as means no one sniffing about our youngsters.
  7. Fucking melt down all over again Magic
  8. Holland's finest...... Gentlemen, I give you Golden Earring Choose any album, but if listening for the first time, then "Moontan" is a great place to start. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Moontan-Golden-Earring/dp/B00005UBMU/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1380290023&sr=1-1&keywords=moontan+golden+earring
  9. In/oot: In (hopefully) provided the missus is out of hospital on time Prematcher: Car Match: Away end Postmatcher: Car Predition: 3-1 Us, Vernon, Pee Paw & Hector
  10. Aye it ended with a Coca Cola mountain bike
  11. Other ties Arabs V ICT Hibs v Farts St Johnstone v Morton
  12. Well away again then
  13. Pretty much agree with that
  14. Good to see Vernon getting back on track as he has had a woeful past year or so, although undoubtedly not helped by Craig Brown's insistance of playing him in a midfield role. Heres hoping all the doom, gloom and suggestions that Vernon was a spent force will prove to be premature.
  15. Seems like the right place for this: FORMER Rangers star Gennaro Gattuso's coaching adventure at Palermo has lasted just six competitive games after he was sacked this morning. The 35-year-old was shown the door following Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Bari, their second straight loss in Serie B. Under Gattuso, Palermo have won just two of their opening six games, not enough to impress Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini, who has opted to make a coaching change. A statement from the club read: "It is with true and profound sadness that I announce the dismissal of Gennaro Gattuso as coach of the first team. "The results have forced us to take this decision. "Perhaps he (Gattuso) and I have taken a step too far in what was his first experience as coach, in a club and a city as challenging as Palermo is. "I have decided to appoint experienced Giuseppe Iacchini as his replacement, handing him the task to lead the team back to Serie A." Palermo were relegated to the second tier last season. The former Italy and AC Milan midfielder joined the Sicilian giants this summer after a spell as a Sion player-coach last term. After joining he signed another former Ibrox star in Irish striker Kyle Lafferty. He becomes the 20th manager to be sacked by Zamparini since the Italian businessman bought Palermo 11 years ago.
  16. I'll buy two....... Actually will I fuck, it is hideous
  17. Please let the buyer be our very own Stewart Milne
  18. Pretty much agree. Might be inclined to give Nicky Low a start and rest Pee Paw as don't want Pawlett injuring himself on articifical pitch.
  19. Neil Young - Like A Hurricane
  20. Simon & Garfunkel - I Am A Rock
  21. Oot.....checking into The Priory 3-1 for us.
  22. Hear what you're saying Bobby (and others) and you know what I don't actually think we're all a million miles apart in our thoughts. I agree he was far from our best player yesterday, but some of the comments (not on here in fairness) have been OTT in their damnation of him. I'm merely highlighting he hasn't exactly had a massive amount of game time in the past eighteen months. Regarding the opinion of Huns on Wylde i'll take with a pinch of salt, considering I never heard any of my Hun mates complaining about him whilst he was at the now defunct club, but suddenly in their eyes he was apparently always lacking a final ball and a weak link. Time will tell, but the one thing I'm sure we'll all agree upon is that we hope he turns out to be huge success for us, and in McInnes I trust Stand Free
  23. Think folk need to take a wee chill pill regarding Wylde and give the boy a chance. He hasn't exactly had a huge amount of game time since leaving the defunct Glasgow Rangers. Whilst he might not have been our top man yesterday, he wasn't exactly shite and his ball in for Hayes volley at the start of second half will do for me, and hope to see much more of that. Give the boy time to get some game time under his belt. As an aside, you think any Hun is going to complimentary about him
  24. Disagree about the booing ceasing, Hayes was booed every time he touched the ball after that, even though it would have been obvious to the love child of Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles that he was genuinely injured
  25. Late in the game went on a run up the right, went to cut inside whilst one on one and seemed to collapse in a heap without any contact. Then whilst he was off getting treatment McInnes sent on Robertson for Considine which seemed a strange time to do it. Thereafter Hayes was virtually a passenger and every time he got the ball he was booed by the Partick fans on the far side of the ground
