Ok, can't let his passing go unmentioned. I had the pleasure to know Sandy Jardine the man. In the early 90's I worked with him. We had some decent banter regarding our footballing allegiances. Never a nasty word between us. I am obviously old enough to remember him on the football pitch. Yes, he was Rangers to the core, but he was a decent guy, and a man I feel honoured to have known. Folk forget that Danny McGrain and Sandy Jardine were voted the best defensive pairing in the '74 World Cup A pretty decent addition to God's team in heaven. Sandy Jardine........RIP
