  2. Which makes you think that he has known exactly what he was doing all along. Rangers go into administartion, Whyte is only secured creditor, everyone else is fucked over. Glasgow Rangers 2012 Ltd or whatever rises from the ashes, and Whyte is laughing, and 130 years of Hun's history is wiped
  3. Here what you're saying, but in our favour, we'll have played thirteen games and four of them will have been against the Brothers Grim. No one else in the league will have played them that amount of times.
  4. WTF....surely not for a restricted view And folk wonder why Scottish football is fucked
  5. Away south on Thursday night....ah the good old sky plus comes to the rescue. Need to avoid reading posts on here prior to watching it, as don't want my unconfined joy spoilt by you lot
  6. God forbid I was a Hun, but if I was I would be mightly concerned about exactly what is going on behind closed doors at Ibrox. The resignation of a legend such as Greig surely sends out a loud message that all is not well there. Simply loving it
  7. What a reversal of fortunes for Bobby and Craigy
  8. Andrew, whilst you are without doubt technically correct in highlighting the error of Rocket's ways, I can't help but think you might have bitten off more than you can chew there
  9. Not advocating we should get rid of Brown and Knox, but we could do worse than your suggestion. See the Mail is saying that Watty is another candidate for Northern Ireland post
  10. Know I shouldn't bother given the source (today's Retard) and not a single quote....in fact pretty much just another hack taking the opportunity to put the boot into us off the back of sensationalist headlines. ================================================ PRESSURE piled on Aberdeen last night when Craig Brown was revealed as a target for Northern Ireland. The Irish want the Dons boss to put them on the road to the 2014 World Cup. They aren't fazed by the fact Brown will be 74 when the tournament kicks off in Brazil because they want Motherwell skipper Stephen Craigan to inherit the job in the long term - and have identified the former Scotland manager as his mentor. Nigel Worthington yesterday announced he is to quit the Northern Ireland job after their final Euro 2012 qualifier in Italy tonight. Attendances at Pittodrie this season have plunged as Aberdeen toil. Last month they were humbled by Second Division East Fife in the League Cup and they are ninth in the SPL - just a point clear of rock-bottom Inverness - with only two wins from their 10 games so far. They could lose an entire team at the end of the season but Brown swears he isn't worried - because he reckons no one has money to snap up his out-of-contract players. Scott Vernon, Jamie Langfield, Rory McArdle, Darren Mackie, Youl Mawene, Isaac Osbourne, Andrew Considine, Kari Arnason, Josh Magennis, Mohamed Chalali and Yoann Folly are in the final years of their deals and free to talk to clubs in January. But Brown said: "I don't see any movement in January as very few clubs have funds to buy players in that window. "You can see that all the way up to Rangers at the top of the SPL. There is no one out there who is likely to buy a player in January. "I hope Vernon wants to stay. He is a very good finisher and I have already said he can be a 20-goals-a-season striker. "However, my main priority at the moment is to get the team up the table." But Aberdeen's troubles haven't put the IFA off Brown, the last man to steer Scotland to a major finals. During his eight years in charge, he took the national side to Euro 96 and the World Cup in France in 1998. Last season, he joined Aberdeen from Motherwell where he worked with Craigan. The 34-year-old defender quit playing for Northern Ireland in July, having earned 54 caps. The IFA insist they will make no formal moves until after a board meeting later this month. But last night president Jim Shaw said: "Stephen Craigan is in the mix and we won't be ruling anyone in or out at this stage." As well as Brown and Craigan, a string of candidates for the job have emerged. Martin O'Neill, former Brechin boss Michael O'Neill, Jim Magilton and Walter Smith are among the names in the frame and ex-Northern Ireland striker Ian Dowie admits he wants the hotseat. Dowie hasn't managed since he failed to keep Hull in the Premier League at the end of season 2009-10. He said: "The proudest moment of my playing career was captaining my country and I'm always happy to help." Keeper Maik Taylor, who will start against Italy for what is likely to be a farewell appearance at the age of 40, spoke up for Worthington on behalf of the squad. He said: "You won't find a player with a bad word to say about Nigel. He was very open-minded and always looked for feedback to see where we could improve as a team. "You know how small the pool of players is and I don't think he could have done any more than he's done. "Whoever comes in is going to have to call on a lot of younger players to step up earlier than they may have hoped."
  11. Levein doesn't inspire me if I'm honest....infact generally speaking been a long long time since anything to do with the Scottish national team inspired me, but Harry has taken my apathy to a new low during this qualifying campaign. Here we are just over twenty four hours from a game that could see us a mere 180 minutes away form our first major finals since 1998 and my excitement level doesn't even register a one on the scale. Lets be honest, if we do make the play offs it is more down to the failings of the other teams in the group rather than our brilliance. Frankly I find it embarassing the negative style of football Potter has introduced us to, and I hardly think the rest of the teams in the play offs will fear a Scotland team that could get there with a mere eight goals scored in eight games and a massive ELEVEN POINTS out of a possible twenty four. Got a tenner on 4-0 Spain tomorrow night.
  12. What season you on ? Been watching it since it first came out. Have season four downloaded but not started on it yet

  14. sounds like different season, same old shit then from Zander
  15. Fucking deluded prick...... Totally one sided article.....so he admits to agreeing to join Farts in March and wonders why he was booed after that No mention of the fact that frankly his performances were at best shite. If he was so keen to get out of Scotland why was he going to join Farts...... nothing to do with the money Plug The only bit of the article I can agree with is the bit about best for both parties to go their seperate ways. Captain of Oldham within a month of joining Anyone bothered to check the league tables and see how effective his leadership skills have been in terms of results
  16. Pure and simple, end of. Its not like we can afford to turn down amyone's money
  17. Thought we were looking to put him out on loan Bit bizzare surely if he is going in for an operation.
  18. Just seen highlights and probably for the first time this season the word highlight is actually justified. Guess I should just fuck off for a long weekend more often if thats what happens. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but credit where credit is due, certainly looked like we turned them over big time.
  19. Youth of today Guess you had to live it Turning eighteen, travelling to every away game, winning the league, and a great song. One day you might experience the feeling
  20. Thirty years on and still one of my favourite tracks of ALL time. Do yourself a favour, click on the youtube link and listen to this. Absolutely pisses all over todays music. Still remember as if it was only yesterday seeing them performing this live How the fuck was this not a hit in the UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrbAGIAZ6bY&feature=related
  21. The Very Best of Steely Dan Going to follow it up with listening to Donald Fagen's first sole album, the brilliant Nightfly The Nightfly is the first solo album by Steely Dan co-founder Donald Fagen, released in 1982. It was one of the first fully digital recordings of popular music. Although The Nightfly includes a number of production staff and musicians who had played on Steely Dan records, it is notably Fagen's first release without longtime collaborator Walter Becker. Unlike the majority of Fagen's work before this point, The Nightfly is almost blatantly autobiographical. Many of the songs relate to the cautiously optimistic mood of his suburban childhood in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and include such lyrical topics as late night jazz deejays, bomb shelters, and tropical vacations. The Nightfly was certified Platinum in both the US and UK, and produced two popular hits with "I.G.Y. (What a Beautiful World)" and "New Frontier". It also received several 1983 Grammy Award nominations. This relatively low-key but long-lived popularity led the Wall Street Journal in 2007 to dub the album, "one of pop music's sneakiest masterpieces."
  22. Harry Potter will put himself back in the job market in next few weeks
