  1. Then go read this.... fucking guaranteed to destroy any degree of optimism you might have http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=25928&st=180 Negativity abounds..........
  2. My understanding of the word "HUN" is that it is not a sectarian term 1. a member of a warlike Asiatic nomadic people who invaded and ravaged Europe in the 4th -5th centuries. 2. informal , derogatory a German (especially during the First and Second World Wars). (the Hun)Germans collectively. I have Rangers supporting work colleagues that regularily refer to themselves as the Huns
  3. Exactly the conversation we've just been having
  4. Surprised no one has mentioned about what our new signings thought of it all. Must have created quite an impression upon our trialists as well.
  5. Fooking hell..... Fucking Sunday Mail will be rubbing their hands. Would imagine that most Scottish NOTW readers would migrate to it instead. Murdoch must have been really concerned about the knock on effect this was going to have
  6. Who has been sniffing substances and voted for eighteen then ?
  7. Three wins, and a bonus point somewhere from Brothers Grim and Cousins of William, which when I was a school would mean seven points, but nowadays means ten
  8. Not pursuing our interest in any of them
  9. Yep, Daily Ranger and the other shite tabloid the name of which I can't bring myself to mention will be in overdrive at this. Retard Article: Foster impressed during his loan stint at Ibrox last season - but some Dons fans are unhappy at his return NEW Aberdeen skipper Richard Foster last night marked his first day in the job with a wild four-letter rant at his own supporters. The defender who spent last season on loan to fierce rivals Rangers was singled out for abuse by Dons fans during the 2-1 defeat by Bochum in Germany. Just hours after being handed the armband by boss Craig Brown, Foster twice mouthed off at the Red Army when they jeered and screamed at him to go back to Ibrox. The furious stopper was heard telling the small group of fans to "f*** off". Later when asked how he would react if the entire South Stand at Pittodrie repeated the abuse, the 25-year-old admitted he would again fire from the lip. Foster, who has had more than 10 years' service with the Dons, said: "I'd probably do the same. "If they give me abuse the whole game I will let them know and make it apparent. "I know it may only be a small section of fans but I will make it apparent it is not acceptable. "One thing Aberdeen have is a good section of fans and that has helped us over the past few seasons but there is a small section who have taken a dislike to me. "But I won't shy away from that. I will let them know I don't enjoy it. If the fans get behind me and I am doing my job on the pitch, fine. "But if they start giving me abuse I will let them know I don't accept it." The incident overshadowed the Dons' first game of their pre-season tour but Foster was seething at the lack of respect some fans displayed and insists he never wanted to leave the club last term. He said: "I never said I wanted to go away - I was effectively sent away. "I tried to do my best when I was away and then for the whole first half I was getting abuse and yet they expected me to clap them at the end. "I'm not saying it was every fan but there was a few of them singing and it wasn't nice. That was my first game this season. I would have hoped the Aberdeen fans would have got behind me. "I was gutted. I wanted them to wipe the slate clean and let me get on with my job but there is a section who won't let me do that."
  10. Sums it up for me. High time some folk woke up and smelt the coffee
  11. To put not to fine a point on it........FUCK HIM Lets move on to next target.
  12. Can't see him choosing us o'er Murderwell, given it was McCall that took him there and he got a Scottish Cup runners up medal. Wouldn't mind being wrong though

    Andy Murray

Afraid to say....you could see this coming a mile off. Much as I wanted ot be wrong it was purely blid faith and an overly inflated sense of optimism just like folllowing Aberdeen, now i come to think of it
  14. Away for a weeks trial at Oldham Oh how the mighty have fallen. Should prove to be a lesson to those that think the grass is always greener on the other side. Obscurity beckons
  15. Agreed Really should have read Penfold's post be replying as well
  16. No sure that is the real reason Bobby. Could be more the point that Homo has been offered to every SPL club, but wages bar us from pursuing any potential deal, so Brown decides to put positive spin on it. Just a thought like, nae saying your wrong

    Andy Murray

Second. Massive day for Murray today.
  18. Got a feeling that this lad might just turn out to be a valuable signing for us. No mention in article of lenght of contract
  19. Reasonably happy with this. Clark was an easy target for the boo boys when here last time around, and no doubt already is this time around. My opinion on Clark, was that he was under valued, and that we probably didn't realise just how much until he was gone. Doubt having played over a hundred games south of the border in the last three years has made him any worse a player. Welcome back Chris
  20. Doubt it will happen however Riordan when in the mood is still an exciting prospect and can turn a game, as well as being good for fifteen goals or so a season, as well as a number of assists.
