  1. Feel sorry for Devlin. Reckon over the piece he'll be an ok signing and a solid 7/10 most games.
  2. Oh dear
  3. Deflect, deflect, deflect Hunnish or Tim behaviour Take responsibility mate
  4. Going to write to the Director General of the BBC as that is seriously offensive and I'llbe fucked if I am paying a licence fee for shite like that
  5. Too late lads, you had your chance. Someone out there appreciated my gesture. Ticket sold.
  6. Apartment and Ionian Sea to be precise
  7. I get your point mate. Personally think it's just another example of how everything nowadays is played out in the open. This sort of information would never have been getting discussed in years gone by as we didn't have internet forums back then. Trust me back in '83, the thought of how much money it would be worth winning the Cup Winners Cup never entered a supporters head. It was all about the honour. 21st century sport is generally becoming more and more about the money and in my opinion not for the better of sport.
  8. Then you'll be getting fuck all mate It's not easy living on a pension these days
  9. What the fuck Rico Don't you know they have a waiting list of 7,000 for a season ticket. Please show some respect min
  10. Having nightmares already
  11. Ok lads, I have sufficient loyalty points to acquire a ticket for the play off match BUT as I have posted elsewhere I will be out of the country and can't attend, therefore it's simple, the first person to offer me face value (think it is £25) gets it. I'll be watching from afar getting pished.
  12. McGarry is on his way. His partner has popped but assume the sprog and her aren't heading over right away
  13. No bother, shout your obscenities on here towards me as it'll keep you out of the jail
  14. Perhaps I haven't articulated this well or you haven't grasped what I meant. Did Fergie shy away from playing the supposed bigger teams ? No, he took them on, learnt from the experiences and made us better and more prepared the next time around and that is my point about striving to be the best you can be. I'd rather be playing the best and developing any day of the week than playing diddies week in, week out. Opinions vary and each to their own which is the whole point of discussion.
  15. I'll happily take a Europa League group with Brighton in it. Be nice to add it to Anfield, Portman Road and Turf Moor as the English grounds where I have seen us in European action
  16. 100% this Always strive to be the best and stretch yourself to your limits Anyone think back in the day, Fergie wouldn't have wanted to be playing in the higher tournament
  17. Thinking that this is pretty much as good as it could have been. I'm going to be in Greece for both legs of this unfortunately, so I'll just have to wait for the actual league section ties to see us. Didn't really foresee this as an issue when I booked as it was January and we all know what Goodwin was doing at that point Laughing at the reaction of some Hearts supporters suggesting we always get the easy draws
  18. Here's hoping their cousins across the capital suffer the same fate
  19. Absolutely fucking brutal stuff. Played tight into Livi's hands No plan b The guts of eighty minutes to make a sub. Serious quality signings required. McKenzie probably out best on the day Long drive home.

Murder In The Granite City Tells the story of the murder of Dr Brenda Paige in 1978 Although I remember the event this gives a background to it and present three possible theories as to why she was murdered. Was it her estranged husband, something connected to the escort service she was involved in or something connected to the oil industry and the research she was carrying out into the effects upon the health of divers in the North Sea. It was astonishing the lack of health and safety in the North Sea oil industry and the amounts of money that divers were paid back in early days of exploration. Well worth a listen folks.
