  1. Much to report since last post on here. In no particular order have read the following: Ken Follet - The Pillars Of The Earth. A decent story from Mr Follet as ever, but at almost 1100 pages, it was at least 500 too many, and the story could easily have been condensed somewhat. George W Bush - Decision Points. Wouldn't have bought it from choice, but given it as a present and actually a decent enough read, if only because I take an interest in current affairs and everything that happened in it is fairly recent and easily rememberable. David Peace - 1974. Finished it but to be honest wouldn't rave about it. Think that boils down more to his style of writing rather than the story itself which was ok. Stuart McBride - Dark Blood. Latest paperback offering on Aberdeen's finest. Been critical of Mr McBride in the past for being far fetched, but this one puts him right back in the frame. Excellent read and finished in a train journey to Newcastle and back. Currently enjoying a book by Paul McGuigan (Oasis) and Paolo Hewiit entitled "The Greatest Footballer You Never Saw" which is the poignant, funny and tragic story of Robin Friday.

  3. Peter Frampton - Thank You Mr Churchill
  4. Out Walking the dog Watching on tele Out for a meal 3-0 us
  5. Totally agree Ajja
  6. And in Ifil's defence, he would have had an age advantage over Kombuare
  7. Well done Bebo, now get that new contract signed and we'll need to put Stoney on suicide watch
  8. What a deal for the Toon......£35m plus add ons allegedly. Also talk of a 25% sell on clause as well
  9. Ouch ya fucker Interesting times ahead. Odds on him staying on the park for ninety minutes in a derby game have to be almost non existant
  10. Guess we've probably had to pay off the remainder of Ifil's contract though
  11. Never really thought he got a real chance at Der Huns. Anyway, welcome on board lad
  12. A-Ha - Take On Me
  13. Spot on Personally stayed to the end, but did say after the fourth went in that would be astounded if we were still there at the bitter end. My younger son is now starting to think he is a jinx on us.......three semi finals, three times four goals conceded.
  14. Nae offence but thats not exactly difficult

  16. the midget had a fucking howler
  17. Meant to say, still think Considine is saveable and therefore would stick with him. Zander however is another matter.
  18. My view on Clangers is well documented elsewhere, but hey ho here we go again. Today was a brodge too far for me as far as Langfield is concerned and I think he has sealed his own fate today. Very much doubt he'll be with us next season.
  19. Hugely disappointed right now, honestly though we could/would do it this afternoon. First observation, Mr Brown got it very very wrong with the line up.... going with four central defenders has been tried and failed before....why start our only natural right back in midfield ? Game was dead and buried inside nine minutes....at this point I seriously thought the 9-0 could/would be surpassed. The introduction of Jack did however steady the ship once the formation was changed. Brown and Knox need to take a share of the blame for today, however senior players again let us down... Paul Hartley will you ever turn up against your beloved 'Tic.... Clangers think you sealed your own fate today ( I have defended you time and time again o'er the years ) but again your bottle has crashed in a a big game. Bizarrely and I don't know if this is to our credit or their detriment but we could and should have scored three ort four in the second half with al ittle bit more composure, and the aforementioned Clangers never had a safe to make. Please in the league game can we come out of the traps and get right in the these cunts faces and get Magennis to stick it right up that fucker Mulgrew. We have it within us to take them and little in life would give me greater pleasure other than having a threesome with the Minogue sisters would give me greater pleasure Sorry for ther rant, but fucked off and pissed off
  20. Any youngster on the fringes of Premiership first team would pretty much bring something to benefit us
  21. WTF
  22. You just did.....TWICE
  23. Very valid points GS. Was just saying the same myself to a colleague earlier.
  24. Stoney min, you've made your point umpteen times, frankly it is beyond the point of being tedious and boring. Keep on track for the benefit of the rest of us. If you feel the need to keep repeating the same point, find yourself a room and lock the door please.
  25. Is he not injured
