  1. Absolutely superb article. Still remember clearly picking up the Retard on 1st or 2nd Jan and reading on back page that Ncholas had signed. Things were done differently back then and in some respects it was more enjoyable, without the constant media attention, and just finding out it had happened after the event. Oh to have Nicholas and Gillhaus at their peak playing for us up front just now.
  2. Can forget Rooney & Hayes as well, as targets for Doncaster
  3. In that case, in no uncertain terms fuck off, enjoy life in Division 1. Next
  4. We watched him prior to January transfer window also, but held off doing anything owing to the chase to capture O'Brien. See St Johnstone are now allegedly favourites to sign McAllister.
  5. How do you qualify you to get an invite ?
  6. Would of thought they were so similar it would be nigh impossible to play them both at same time
  7. Have read both the new Mark Billingham and Stuart McBride ones in last couple of weeks. Both of them were really good, with McBride back on form after the disappointment of the last one of his I read. Just about finished Mark Beaumont - The Man Who Cycled The World. Didn't watch the prog on BBC but this has been a fantastic read. A real inspirational story..... in fact think I might take the bike to the shop for my paper instead of jumping in the car
  8. Exactly what I was thinking Ally, but just been reading that Stokes and/or Riorden are likely to be sold in the summer window.
  9. Been told he is offski regardless of whether he keeps them in the SPL or not. Apparently him and the chairman ( Gilmour ? ) don't speak at all. McPherson has similar aspirations to our last manager apparently
  10. Apparently so. St Midden will be looking for a new manager come the summer as well
  11. Imagine the reaction if the previous bum in the hot seat had targeted Mehmet as a signing
  12. No real surprise if true, there always real possibility of this. It could however just be cheap journalism coming up with this.
  13. Rod Stewart - This Old Heart Of Mine
  14. In Mizer's defense there's not exactly a lot of grounds for optimism being generated either by Dingus or within the corridors of power at Pittodrie. Regarding the playing staff, even the usual suspects like Deek Dung seem to have been struck down by silence just now.
  15. Like your style Reekie. Are rotten tomatoes and eggs allowed to be launched also ?
  16. "one" is only one way of describing it
  17. Hear what you're saying, but that being the case, what the fuck has he been up to for the past few months
  18. Don't think WM is that smart guys When he says McGhee's job is safe, he probably means McGhee's job is safe and not the opposite
  19. Was never my choice in the first place but been prepared to give benefit of the doubt to date. Our position is precarious to put it mildly. In my heart of hearts, I honestly beleive we will escape relegation, but only just. All very well to talk of giving him the summer to sort things out, but absolutely nothing I'm seeing or hearing now convinces me that this is the correct course of action. What happens if the lack of motivation carries into next season, then what then ? At what point do the board decide enough is enough, how far detached at bottom of the league do we have to be. If this happens and we punt him into next season, then whoever takes over has no options in terms of signing players. I can't beleive he is trotting out that everyone on our books still has the chance to be here next season. Grow a set Dingus and go into the dressing room, simple question to those out of contract in summer, do you want to be here next season, if so go out and play like it, if not then don't bother coming in tomorrow, someone else is taking your place. Lets face it if you'd no intention of being in your job in a couple of months time, would you bust a gut ? In short, think McGhee's time is up. Sad it hasn't worked out, but probably best for all parties for a parting of the ways sooner rather than later
  20. Fucking scandalous Funster. I partially blame you for the lack of cash in our transfer kitty after reading this
  21. Supposed to have been anywhere between seven to nine thousand of us turned up.
  22. Bobby, remember Falkirk, 13th May 1995
  23. Him and a few others all should be..... Should have a size nine firmly wedged up their arse's
