  1. Deserves his own thread. Well done young man, what a week you had last week First steps on a lengthy and successful football career I hope. Contracted to AFC until end of next season, but the sharks were already circling from down south. Hope he sees the merits in staying beyond that time and potentially getting more first team experience with us. Oh and lastly, work on your corners son, your first contribution in the first team was shite
  2. Being reported in Italy that Juventus have agreement in principle with Motta to take over in the summer. Assuming that Fergie gets back to full fitness and the levels he has reached @ Bologna, then I would think this increases the chance that the young man is Juventus bound in one of the 2025 transfer windows
  3. Wonder what odds Tonali got on himself to win that
  4. Absolutely min, the youngsters are responsible for all the world's current ills
  5. We'll be in bother again Rico with someone
  6. Nice balanced panel......two ex Huns Backed up by the incompetent Jane MacLeod feeding off their Hun love in. Foster had his moments, but I still felt he was happy enough generally to salivate over them.
  7. Agree with your summary Jute The major benefit for you if actually being there was you didn't have to listen to the "impartial" BBC commentary. What a fucking disgrace. Total Hun love in from start to finish and frankly indefensible in anyone's language.
  8. Don't really see much lower league football, so genuinely interested in that comment. Are there any standouts that you think we should be closely looking at ?
  9. Connor Barron to Cagliari ? Decent move for him if true but kind of disappointed he isn't hanging around for another season or so and also the fact we miss out a potentially sizeable fee.
  10. Hoilett making noises about looking to extend his stay with us. Got to say, I'm pretty surprised about this as thought he'd be offski for certain at the season end. What's everybody's thought on extending his stay. Personally wouldn't be adverse to a twelve month contract, depending upon his wage expectations, but suspect he'll probably want a two year given his age.
  11. Funny you should say that Rico, as I've been thinking for a few weeks that he could be a possible replacement for Roos. Another possible could be the young Icelandic keeper that Elfsborg sold to Brentford for a couple of million last year. Not suggesting we sign him as won't get him on a permanent but maybe a season long loan to give us some breathing space to secure long term replacement
  12. Correct about County BUT as I said win next week we go onto 41 points and St Johnstone can thereafter only get to forty points meaning we ARE safe
  13. Victory next saturday and we are safe regardless of what happens in the remaining rounds of fixtures after that. That's the positive to take from today for me
  14. Livi and Hibs doing the business for us. Now if only we could up our game to the levels of last week and get three points here. A first half of very little excitement tbh
  15. I can be the voice of reason to your argumentative prick. Then again maybe not
  16. I guess they can no longer be called Buckie Luggers
  17. Jimmy out 4-2 down
  18. Apparently they were all warned about this back in December Nonetheless totally pissed off that the chicken fraudster has the chance to take a team into league fitba
  19. Jesus Christ We've employed a total fraudster Elfsborg currently 3-2;down with fifteen minutes to go and heading for a relegation scrap. Jimmy's is going to feel right at home here
  20. Rico & Al The new Saint & Greavsie or Cosgrove and Cowan
  21. In fairness Panda he quite possibly is, but in this instance we're not comparing apples with apples
  22. Completely agree with the last sentence. Not a fan of Kenny McIntyre to be honest.
  23. A passionate and undoubtedly truthful defence Panda My objective with my comment was not to single out the BBC as being any worse than any other media source in Scotland, but they are equally guilty in my opinion. Fully accept that the larger the fan base, the greater coverage a club is likely to get, however it is the manner of reporting that causes me issues. In any sports bulletin, mention one arse cheek and they feel they have to then follow it up with a story about the other cheek for fear of one half of Glasgow shouting media bias. Ultimately I think we all know what I mean
  24. Are we seriously suggesting that others, BBC included, do ? All Scottish media feeds from the same trough unfortunately
  25. He has said in time he would like to be his own man. I don't think this is the right move for him however and think it would benefit him to stay where he is for at least a season learning under Thelin
