  1. Obvious reasons Panda are the fact that 75-76 season was the first time that it was possible to play the same team twice at home and twice away during the course of a league campaign. Appreciate you youngsters won't remember anything pre-that
  2. Interesting point you raise there Panda If we have , it would have to be since 1975-1976 season for obvious reasons and it isn't something I personally can remember happening to be honest

  4. Agree with your analysis of them as a club, but on purely selfish grounds I'd rather they stayed up. Ross County to go down for me.
  5. On reflection Panda, your thoughts are pretty much spot on. Think I just got blinkered initially by going to Glasgow's East End for a third time. Better that than St Mirren away probably as either way chances are Celtic will beat us anyway.
  6. Third trip of the season to the Tattiebowl
  7. Cheeky bastards wanting a six figure transfer fee though

There'll be no more tens from Len Len Goodwin aged 78
  11. Jesus Rico, for someone that doesn't want to discuss transfer windows until May, you've got a hell of a lot to say on the subject
  12. Pretty tame and generally boring first half at St James between Newcastle & Spurs Just the five goals for Newcastle which considering the first nine minutes is a little disappointing
  13. Yes he is Manc, recently gained his UEFA licence and is assistant coach to the U16's
  14. Any truth in the rumour that he was quoted as saying afterwards "the deal was agreed a while ago, but I felt it necessary to wait until BigAl started the summer 2023 transfer thread on DonsTalk before announcing the signing of it" ?
  15. Christ, I must be slipping up now that I've commenced my seventh decade as I started last summer's one back in mid March 2022 much to Rico's annoyance. Anyway, here goes, the exact date the window will open has yet to be announced but will be at some point in early June meaning we are potentially only just over six weeks away. If we thought last year's one was busy, then I think its fair to say there is going to be a fair old churn this summer as well. Difficult to forecast too much at this point given amongst other minor things we don't actually know who'll be in charge next season, but lets not let that stop us speculating too much. Rumours in the papers suggesting we're still after the lad from Go Ahead Eagles that we came close to signing in January. There will be all the usual chat about who's leaving and how much we'll rake in in fees, so knock yourselves out and get them fired in here lads.
  16. Some through ball from Clarkson for Duk 1-0
  17. Forgot about them. Not difficult to do
  18. No debate in my eyes, this game is absolutely massive for us. Win on Friday evening and we potentially put ourselves in a strong position On Saturday there is the Edinburgh derby which neither team can afford to lose if we have already banked three points. The other potential contenders play The Huns and much as it makes me feel extremely dirty wishing this, it has to be three points for Der Hun. If Huns win and Hibs beat Hearts, with six games remaining we go five clear of Heart, six clear of St Mirren and seven ahead of Hibs. Eight points from our remaining eighteen to play for pretty much guarantees us third and the pot of gold that sits at the end of the rainbow. Out Work Red TV Nothing much 1-2 (Duk & Miovski)

  20. The day he was given the captaincy in my opinion
  21. Precisely my thoughts as well Manc. Think Stewart came across as a genuinely nice guy but promoted out of his depth. I wish him well with the remainder of his career.
  22. Has he got his coaching badges ?
