  1. Norwich is no issue...Boothroyd will be appointed at start of the week. Utretch however I sense might be an issue.
  2. Very bitter individual towards AFC......thinks we did him out of the medals that were his by rights for playing for the Tic in the 80's
  3. Sir Craig Levein.........Aye fecking right.......yet another member of the BigAl list of tossers
  4. Hartson was and still is an obnoxious shite who I find highly offensive. did we deserve to lose the game 3-2 at the Tattie Bowl earlier this season It might just be true that the breaks even themselves out over the course of a season. Welsh fuckwit but still not as bad as Davie provan who is a double :wanker:
  5. and if they had succeeded then they wouldn't have had to wait for over a century for success in the Scottish Cup
  6. WTF

Aye fucking right Bet you'll be spitting feathers by the time you get your next drink
  8. Its not an "ears arse" Simply arse, merely sorted your spelling error
  9. Think you misunderstand me Jager. Prepared to give management the credit for finding the lad, but my point is that given the fact that Sone has played with him through the age groups for Engerlund, chances are he'll have phoned Sone to ask about coming to AFC, and Aluko has done the selling job to him
  10. Vidal became the second consecutive Manchester City youngster to sign on loan for Grimsby Town in as many seasons, following the signing of Shaleum Logan at the same time in the previous season. He signed on an initial one month loan at Grimsby on the 1st September 2008, he was meant to sign 3 days previously but returned to Manchester following a Friday training session in Grimsby.Vidal made his professional debut in the clubs 2-2 draw with Chesterfield in the Football League Trophy 1st Round at Saltergate. He was used as a second half substitute, and the club went on to win 4-1 in the penalty shoot out. He made his league debut on the 6th September against Gillingham as a second half sub for Jamie Clarke. Vidal returned to the Eastlands after playing a total of five games for Grimsby in all competitions. "Jav reminds me of Earl Barrett in many ways - he's a rubber man who bounces all over the place with great athleticism.. He's played for England under 19s this year and, like the rest of the lads, he will benefit immensely from playing alongside senior players" said Jim Cassell in the Official Manchester City annual 2008
  11. Yep didn't take long...wonder if he'll be hair today, gone tomorrow
  12. Wonder if Sone has had some influence in getting the lad to come north ?
  13. http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/c...1522336,00.html Welcome on board the good ship AFC loon

  15. P.S You're forgiven
  16. Moi, Bobo, or baith of us
  17. This is going to start coming across as if I've got it in for Mackie. I accept he does ok some of the time, but this is part of our problem we are prepared to accept someone like Mackie doing alright some of the time. If we continue to accept mediocrity like this then we're never going to move to the next level. I accept that he is ok for backup, but our playing budget doesn't allow for a massive squad and genuinely think, regardless of his wage, it could potentially be better spent on a.n.other. Anyone planning on going to Mackie's testimonial if he's still here next season
  18. Surely not if it kept a proper footballer out of the team
  19. Who Mackie's never heard of Lazio
  20. So you went for three then ? Defeat to the Tattie Howkers, and victory against the Huns
  21. I'll concede that as well, but not convinced he really did that much else. Weigh that up against his number of one on one misses, free header v Hamilton etc
  22. In fairness Ally, I'll certainly give you the Hearts game just after Xmas, as one of Mackie's better performances for us, but as to whether I'd stretch that to walking away thinking I've got to sign that guy, thats another matter Folk go on about Mackie's pace, I'll admit he has got pace, but it certainly isn't what it used to be, and I'll give you the aggression part. He certainly does seem to have devloped a nasty streak to his game. Sorted that little fucker out at Rugby Park on Tuesday night
