  1. No as I said the other day, he'll be waiting for the call from Mike Ashley when he gives Big Sam the old heave-ho

  4. There will be more than 6,200 tickets if we need them
  5. Update report from BBC Scotland website: Dons duo set for Pittodrie exit Nicholson and Hart are set for the Pittodrie exit Barry Nicholson and Michael Hart will not sign the new deals Aberdeen have offered them, BBC Scotland understands. Both players - along with Zander Diamond and Chris Clark - are out of contract at the end of the season and had all been set a Monday deadline. The Dons have called a Tuesday media conference amid growing speculation concerning the future of manager Jimmy Calderwood as well as that quartet. The players are free to negotiate with other clubs. Aberdeen director of football Willie Miller told BBC Sport that the club had made the best offers possible. He also revealed that Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock had made an enquiry about one of the four but had not tabled an offer. Calderwood's future has been under scrutiny for some time and the club would only say that talks with the former Dunfermline manager are on-going and reasonably positive. "Nothing is certain," Calderwood told the P&J. "My own contract situation is no nearer to being resolved and we are not that far down the road. "The situation is I am waiting for the club to get back to me. "But it is wrong for people to jump to a conclusion where negotiations with the players and the club, and my own talks about a new contract, are linked." The club aim to keep Calderwood at the helm and managing director Duncan Fraser said: "If Jimmy is on the verge of quitting I've not been made aware of it. "An offer is on the table and it is now a case of whether the manager will accept it or not."

  7. Ach well thats Clark sorted for an international call up then

  9. Nae doubting your word on that mate, but ffs this is for twice the amount of tickets
  10. absolutely.... but still shocked by it
  11. Fucking hell, just re read that, two words jump out pre purchase We've paid up front for them Pity we'll not have a team to put on the park
  12. Press conference called for Tuesday: Aberdeen have called a Tuesday media conference amid growing speculation concerning the future of manager Jimmy Calderwood and several key players. Like many of his first team regulars, Calderwood is out of contract at the end of the season. Calderwood has been discussing a new deal, while a Monday deadline was set for a quartet of players. Zander Diamond, Michael Hart, Chris Clark and Barry Nicholson are all considering contract extensions. The players are free to negotiate with other clubs and director of football Willie Miller told BBC Sport that Aberdeen had made the best offers possible. He also revealed that Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock had made an enquiry about one of the four but had not tabled an offer. Calderwood's future has been under scrutiny for some time. "An offer is on the table and it is now a case of whether the manager will accept it or not." Meanwhile, Aberdeen will this week give a trial to out-of-favour De Graafschap defender Dave Bus. And former Charlton Athletic centre-half Jonathan Kurrant has left the club after only six months by mutual consent.
  13. Good news at last Looks like what i've said all along is coming true Easier to get a ticket for Munich than Pittodrie
  14. What a fucking non event of a story/headline 12:00 - 07 January 2008 Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood is considering quitting the club. Four key players - Zander Diamond, Michael Hart, Barry Nicholson and Chris Clark - also look set to move out before the summer. Plymouth Argyle are understood to have already tabled a six-figure bid for Hart and Clark. Dons football director Willie Miller admitted he is concerned by developments, but vowed to do all he can to persuade Calderwood to stay at Pittodrie.
  15. what time are the online articles normally update, because cannae read the stories behind the headlines yet
  16. I honestly believe that Calderwood rates himself that highly................sad to say but i really am coming around to the way of thinking that it might be for the best if he goes.
  17. Is there any truth in the rumour that the six figure sum for Hart and Clark is £100,002.50 ? and broken down as £100k for Hart and £2.50 for Clark Alternatively might be a BOGOF deal on the pair
  18. Crikey, and to think I thought I was taking a hard line stance here
  19. Some might cynically say his own imaginary reputation
  20. The thing is Calderwood ain't going to leave now however without a new job, as apart from anything else he'll be wanting to hog the media spotlight surrounding our Munich ties and League Cup semi final in the hope of enhancing his reputation
