  1. I was asked for an opinion, I gave an opinion [ copy and pasted ]. Its headed to be a total non event with even the organisers creaming themselves at the prospect that they might get the massive total of 100 folk there Ok invited to pass an opinion/view so going to give one. The idea of a protest pre match is frankly ridiculous in my humble opinion, particularily before a game that is in all reality is likely going to be crucial to our chances of being in the top six post split. If you want to protest, and certainly have the right to do so if you choose so, then surely it makes more sense to do this post match. Just can't get my head around what you hope to achieve doing it at 2pm pre match Expecting to be shot down in flames for this, but hey ho, thick skinned enough to take it on the chin.
  2. Nae bugger reading these bright nights then just finished "Shopped" by Joanna Blythman, which is about the power of the British supermarkets. Next up is "Attention, Deficit, Disorder" by Brad Listi
  3. Yep credit where credit is due. Well done Bebo
  4. http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1609112,00.html Big things expected of this boy also by the sounds of it.
  5. Here's hoping so
  6. Call me a cynical auld bastard if you like....plenty have before But similarities with Bagshaw Anyone actually watched the boy play yet
  7. Totally unbaised Redweb reporting suggesting that Maguire signle handedly turned the game around
  8. Bobby Darin - If I Were A Carpenter
  9. Aristotelis “Telly†Savalas - If
  10. Stevie Wonder - The Definitive Collection
  11. The Assembly - Never Never
  12. Echo & The Bunnymen - My White Devil
  13. Would obviously love to see us finish no lower than third, but as others have intimated Hearts seem to have got their act together and third is only theirs to toss away and whilst they have previous history of imploding dinnae think they'll do it this time unfortunately. Neither us or the Arabs have exactly set the heather alight in the last few weeks, so might not be too surprised if Motherwell got their shit together and they finished ahead of us yet. Going for fifth realistically, but still hoping for third

    Andy Murray

Totally blown away Nadal wins 6-1, 6-2
  15. ditto
  16. Was the St Mirren game not broadcast on Alba, the Saturday night after it was played, in which if it was the answer to your question is No. Mind you, we were a baw hair away from it
  17. H'min its all about opinions and how you choose to interpret things amigo. I can see your point ofview in this one, but your original point was that AFC's current crop of yongsters were mediocre in comparison to the league. All I've done is highlight just how many youth internationals we actually have
  18. And nobody likes a smartarse.......particularily a young one.
  19. Think this thread pretty much backs up my point Sweetchuck http://www.thedandies.co.uk/messageboard/index.php?topic=7414.msg114138#msg114138
  20. Got to say pretty much agree with Stoney on this one, but again apart form the last sentence. Is our crop of youngsters really worse than other clubs. Recent international squads would tend to suggest otherwise. Kind of curious as to who is in much better shape than us youngster wise

    Aberdeen Football Club
  22. Really bad when we've got the Hun sympathy vote
  23. Can't even bring myself to think about Saturday's game. The noose is tight around my neck, and the chair might have wobbled to much prior to that Fuck I'm depressed today. Says it all when you've got female colleagues who know fuck all about football treating you with kid gloves cause they know you might not be in the best frame of mind
  24. Ok, new day, sun is splitting the sky down here, but despite it the hurt is even greater this morning than it was last night. Just couldn't bring myself to come on here last night or the pills might have been taken. As so many have said previously there was a real sense of inevitability about it all last night, if not pre match, then certainly by the time we got to half time having created the square root of fuck all. My hopes of Europa League football are all but extinguished, as just can't us making it via league position, I'm not even that confident we'll actually make top six yet. I've defended JC many many times, but same as others feel that last night was just one embarassment too many, and it is probably time up for him. Not sure that the time is right now, but a big call is required at season end. Going to be a long day
