No I wanted the cash and balls

Shayden Morrice off to Celtic for £3m plus Scales, although reckon we 'd be better taking the cash and half a dozen new balls
-
Yes, prostrate cancer. Yes to this also. Sure there was £1m paid in compensation.
-
Showing passion He's come to the wrong place
-
Doubtful Jute, who the fuck would take him off our hands We'd better not pay up his contract and release him.
-
As a completely irrelevant aside, his past girlfriend is Alexandra Burke
-
Thirty year old, released by Division 2 Swindon Town. I'll respectfully reserve judgement until I see him play.

Was out last night from 6pm until midnight at a Burns Supper with much alcohol involved so just getting around to catching up on this now. To be honest when I got the first message telling me about this statement, my initial reaction was one of disbelieve, by the time the next came in from a different person I thought holy shit. Regardless of what you think about whether the club should have kept him on or not, frankly I find the wording of it absolutely extraordinary and isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of belief in Goodwin's ability to turn things around but more like we know you're shite, just not shite enough yet for us to sack you. The phrase "dead man walking" has been used numerous times in the last few weeks and basically that's pretty much the jist of the statement. I'd love to be proved wrong and for Goodwin to do a Neilson and turn things around like he did when Farts fans were screaming for his head, but unfortunately I just don't think it is going to happen. If the last couple of games were the players fully supporting Goodwin and vice versa, god knows what depths we're going to sink to, when they throw in the towel

100% this mate

Scales style of play is two steps forward and turn and take two backwards. Last night wasn't by any means the first time I have noticed this but by fuck I lost count the number of times he did it

Well it's the morning after the night before as they say, and I've just switched on my phone and ended my social media black out. As expected usual assortment of piss taking messages but surprisingly high number sympathising and feeling my pain. I've been fortunate to witness the many highs of this football club during my life and yes I've seen a fair few lows but nothing and I mean nothing has ever come remotely close to last night's events. Never have we had such a gutless, spineless, disjointed group of players on the park and as for off it, there really are no words. You had to be there to witness Goodwin standing on the touchline in silence, arms folded and clueless as to what to do. No passion, no encouragement just apathy and a man completely out of his depth. Can someone answer the question as to what Goodwin's assistant actually does ? I'm not sure I have ever seen them speaking during a match Jute has already made a perfectly valid point regarding the inverted wingers. Not sure if anything was said about Shinnie on TV. Was he carrying a knock ? If not why oh why in a game calling out for his inspirational leadership and motivation did he not get on the park at half time ? Interesting to see the look of horror on the faces of some of our foreign imports at the level of crowd vitriol directed at them at full time. Just don't think they get it and there in lies part of the problem I could go on and on and on, but what the fucks the point, if no cunt connected with the club can bother their arse to get up for the cause any longer, then why the fuck should I ? Fuck the lot of them

Will settle for the same result as the last Scottish Cup game we had against a non league side. I'm proud to say I was at that one and will be at tonight's also. Reckon I could be part of a very small group Elgin City 1971 As Scottish Cup holders the Dons landed Highland League giant killers Elgin City to Pittodrie in 1971. There was great interest in the tie in the area and the original game was postponed on the Saturday due to heavy flooding in the Aberdeen area. Elgin forged their own piece of Scottish Cup history by reaching the quarter finals in 1969, the first Highland League side to do so. There was also interest locally with former Dons captain Ally Shewan now in the twilight of his career plying his trade with the Borough Briggs side. A huge crowd of 24,136 turned up for the rescheduled tie on 2th January 1971. As cup holders the Dons were the team to beat that season and with Aberdeen also going for the league title there was every hope that a double for the Dons was a possibility. On the night it was the power and pace of the Dons front line that proved decisive. Jim Forrest was enjoying getting in behind the Elgin defence, although Ally Shewan had marshalled his side well and at times made it difficult for the Dons. Eventually the Dons experience told and Forrest (2) and Joe Harper (2) helped Aberdeen to a convincing 5-0 win over their part time opponents.
