  1. Cunts win 2-0 with The Hobbit getting the second. Swedish fitba looks shite as Malmö fail to get an effort on target over the ninety minutes
  2. Huns a goal up in Sweden and much as it pains me to say it on the evidence of the first half pissing all over Malmö
  3. Reekie, I've just taken a few minutes to read through the twelve pages of this thread, Christ min, you're nae kidding certainly brought back memories of some of the folk that used to be regulars on here. Some great folk amongst them and certainly some that always ensured life was never quiet on here and a fair few that I know from European trips to Madrid and Munich back in 2007/08 Also had the pleasure of meeting Bobby Biscuit when he brought the football team he coached down to my neck of the woods for a friendly game
  4. Struggling to see it against this white background Joking aside, like it and wish I hadn't rushed into getting my DNA shirt so soon. Grey is a very fetching colour on men of advanced years.
  5. On reflection Rico, perhaps "basket case" is too harsh a description by me. Do however believe that all is not as rosy as it may appear. A large number of the support are not fans of Budge's stewardship. In addition there are divisions in the support over the proposed Bloom involvement. Definitely grounds for unrest and rumblings.
  6. Jesus min, you've had a time of it and been through the wringer. I sincerely hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel and sure I speak for all DT'ers in saying stay strong and don't be a stranger to the site
  7. In Driving Away End Driving home 1-2 Nesbit & Palaversa
  8. McInnes isn't a good fit for Hearts. Hearts are a basket case, McInnes doesn't do basket case clubs as demonstrated by his refusal to go to Der Hun or Sunderland. McInnes likes total control and lets be honest, that's not something he is going to get at Hearts. McInnes likes a good relationship with his chairman. He had that at us with Milne. He currently has it @ Killie. For the above reasons, in my opinion, McInnes to Hearts isn't a starter
  9. Confirmed as Saturday @ 5.30pm kick off
  10. Aye I thought that as well Manc, but couldn't find it when did a quick search
  11. If it is anyone with Tony as their first name, I'd think Docherty is more likely than Mowbray.
  12. IF they lose their next two league games and we win ours we would be 20 points ahead and have a game in hand. Very much doubt any of us would have foreseen that possibility
  13. Been thinking about this and changed my take on this. Surely 5.30pm on a Saturday is Premier Sports live game time, so guess we're getting a Saturday evening game in Glasgow Wonder which end of the ground we will randomly be allocated ?
  14. Think we can all guess which one it will be from those options
  15. Insider dealing then
  16. Gut feeling or insider trading knowledge
  17. I realise Naismith won't exactly be short of a few bob, but if I was him I'd be fucked if I would walk away from three years worth of compensation
  18. Seems as good a place as any to post this, so here goes. Have just spent a bit of time looking over my shoulder for Scotland's third force rushing up on us, but couldn't see them. Upon further investigation, I now understand now on account of the fact they have lost EIGHT consecutive games seeing them FOURTEEN points behind us having played a game more, out of the League Cup at the first hurdle, out of Europa League qualifiers at the first hurdle. In fairness however, apparently their hotel bookings are fairly positive. God bless the Jambos, always providing entertainment value.
  19. Fucking hell, saw this headline pop up but never thought to click on it and certainly didn't think it would be one of our ex players. Unlike on the pitch, it would appear off it, he could sniff out an opportunity
  20. Agree with this 100%. Continue to learn his trade before jumping straight into the fire. I thought Leven seemed a very level headed individual during his time in temporary charge last season and am sure he has his head screwed on the right way.

Salvatore Schillaci, 1990 World Cup winner and Golden Boot winner for the tournament, aged only 59.
  22. Wow, you're taking me back o'er fifty years now. Can mind certain bits and probably missing certain bits but seem to recollect Scottish Cup games against Burntisland, Stenhousemuir and Kilmarnock where there was 11,000 inside Borough Briggs and of course I was at the game in '71 at Pittodrie when we lost 5-0. Left Elgin for pastures new in April 1972.
  23. @Elgindon are you doing a spying mission this evening given Elgin are entertaining Spartans
  24. Aye fuck sake min, that's fit I meant. Combination of age and trying to do too many things at once mate Serves me right for trying to be a smart arse
  25. Thought he was a strange appointment from them in the first place. Guess they must have seen him as a safe pair of hands at the time.
