  1. If it is anyone with Tony as their first name, I'd think Docherty is more likely than Mowbray.
  2. IF they lose their next two league games and we win ours we would be 20 points ahead and have a game in hand. Very much doubt any of us would have foreseen that possibility
  3. Been thinking about this and changed my take on this. Surely 5.30pm on a Saturday is Premier Sports live game time, so guess we're getting a Saturday evening game in Glasgow Wonder which end of the ground we will randomly be allocated ?
  4. Think we can all guess which one it will be from those options
  5. Insider dealing then
  6. Gut feeling or insider trading knowledge
  7. I realise Naismith won't exactly be short of a few bob, but if I was him I'd be fucked if I would walk away from three years worth of compensation
  8. Seems as good a place as any to post this, so here goes. Have just spent a bit of time looking over my shoulder for Scotland's third force rushing up on us, but couldn't see them. Upon further investigation, I now understand now on account of the fact they have lost EIGHT consecutive games seeing them FOURTEEN points behind us having played a game more, out of the League Cup at the first hurdle, out of Europa League qualifiers at the first hurdle. In fairness however, apparently their hotel bookings are fairly positive. God bless the Jambos, always providing entertainment value.
  9. Fucking hell, saw this headline pop up but never thought to click on it and certainly didn't think it would be one of our ex players. Unlike on the pitch, it would appear off it, he could sniff out an opportunity
  10. Agree with this 100%. Continue to learn his trade before jumping straight into the fire. I thought Leven seemed a very level headed individual during his time in temporary charge last season and am sure he has his head screwed on the right way.

Salvatore Schillaci, 1990 World Cup winner and Golden Boot winner for the tournament, aged only 59.
  12. Wow, you're taking me back o'er fifty years now. Can mind certain bits and probably missing certain bits but seem to recollect Scottish Cup games against Burntisland, Stenhousemuir and Kilmarnock where there was 11,000 inside Borough Briggs and of course I was at the game in '71 at Pittodrie when we lost 5-0. Left Elgin for pastures new in April 1972.
  13. @Elgindon are you doing a spying mission this evening given Elgin are entertaining Spartans
  14. Aye fuck sake min, that's fit I meant. Combination of age and trying to do too many things at once mate Serves me right for trying to be a smart arse
  15. Thought he was a strange appointment from them in the first place. Guess they must have seen him as a safe pair of hands at the time.
  16. If you're suggesting the big lad, can't be the fast lad, then Panda is going to be having words with you
  17. Going by Thelin's quotes in today's Retard, Ruby is not getting dropped soon. Wasn't aware of us turning down a seven figure bid for him over the summer. Did I miss this when I was abroad ? Anyone able to share the details of this please ?

Gary Shaw ex Villa striker. Him and Peter Withe were a superb double act the year they won the old English 1st Division in the early 80's.

  20. Brilliant min
  21. All about interpretation of language and we have obviously have different views on it, as backed up by your use of the word "seemed" Anyway, let's park it and just agree on the fact he is capable of putting the after burners on and showed some pace when making that run down the line culminating in the finish for our opening goal
  22. No I am suggesting that not every 6ft plus male has lightening pace
  23. What's your point caller
  24. Very positive from me Takes no shit and can spot a pass. Decent debut and hopefully can go from strength to strength. Can't believe the transformation in Pape Gueye. Difficult to believe this is the same player that I watched playing up front for us in Helsinki. He is starting to look like one of these players that is going to regularly get the crowd on their feet when he gets the ball. Lightening pace for such a big man and you can visibly see his confidence growing with each passing week.
