  1. Really nice to be back in the house so soon after the match finished for a change Not much to add that's not already been said. We started brightly and deservedly took the lead but completely failed to build on it. The second half we never laid a glove on them and made them look semi competent for long spells. On another evening we could easily have conceded three or four and been heavily defeated. Mitov flapped time and time again. He really needs someone to be pushing him to keep the shirt. Lobban can be proud of his first start and more than played his part. Dare I say it, Jensen actually had one of his better games for us tonight. Has anything changed as a result of tonight, in my opinion definitely no. The deep rooted issues are still there but for once I will enjoy my large dram to accompany the three points and try and thaw out as it was fucking cold in Killie
  2. I thought that about Lobban/Jensen as well initially at the time. Not so sure Rico but we'll see soon enough I guess. Loving the way Knoester and Devlin in particular are constantly encouraging Lobban. Early days I know but he doesn't look out place tonight
  3. Lobban and Jensen switched sides Killie fans seem to have developed a greater dislike of Jensen than most of our support have
  4. Armstrong
  5. Goal
  6. Looks like a 3-5-2 from behind our goals. Lobban on the right
  7. Superb article on the official site marking the passing of Bobby Wilson the last surviving member of the 1955 League Cup winning side. Well worth a read https://www.afc.co.uk/2025/10/28/in-memoriam-bobby-wilson/

  8. The Scottish Cup replay game that ended 4-3 for us after the draw at Pittodrie. What a fucking night that was, without doubt my favourite Aberdeen game at Rugby Park since I move to this neck of the woods over thirty years ago
  9. Hi Scott Burns Looks like you've been reading this one.
  10. Fucking hell, just reading Dermot Desmond's comments. Talk about slaughtering someone publicly
  11. Not advocating that all three of them should be put straight into the first team but you would expect an odd sub appearance or the like. Think Bilalovic got on against The Arabs a few weeks back and never seen again, despite actually looking half decent. Frame is supposed to be a left back/left wing back but despite our issues in this position he has still to be seen. Kjaratansson I thought was supposed to be first team ready. Hear fit you're saying about age but not sure spending £1.2m on three young players we don't play strikes me as the best use of limited funds. All about opinions I guess
  12. Assume so, but whether he should be given that is a whole other matter
  13. The guts of £1.2 million spent on this three Any one actually seen them Why oh why have we spunked this level of cash on players never to be seen ?
  14. No offence meant BUT that thought process is miles behind min
  15. Cormack is a deluded prick then in my opinion
  16. I will go on record now as someone that has followed Aberdeen for well over fifty five years, if Stephen Robinson becomes next manager of Aberdeen I am done. I mean c'mon to fuck, you can't be serious about that Have you actually seen the way his teams play Might suit you from a few thousand miles away, but there is absolutely no way I would pay money to watch the shite he churns out
  17. Then hell mend him He will bring a sacking upon himself
  18. Stupid enough to spend yet more money on following a lost cause In Working then driving 15 mins from my and trying to fathom out a potential line up and formation under Thelin Away end 4-0 Killie Driving home and if Thelin hasn't gone before this them awaiting the announcement that another Aberdeen manager has left the club post a heavy defeat at Rugby Park. Jimmy, please walk away now.
  19. It's already toxic and that is why he should walk away with the cup legacy intact
  20. Agreed See my comment on the Jimmy Thelin thread Hope he walks before he gets booted though
  21. We'll always have the cup win and thanks for that Jimmy but for your sake as much as mine, just go please. Resignation letter on Dave's desk first thing Monday morning
  22. There seems to have been a fair few flights cancelled on the way back. Think the bulk of them were easyJet. Heard an instance of someone not getting put on an alternative until Monday allegedly Hope it hasn't caused you too much inconvenience and have a safe journey home
  23. OUT Care factor very low Anyone want my Rugby Park ticket
  24. On the way home, awaiting flight to Edinburgh and then driving. I have nothing to say about the game other than if it had been ten it wouldn't have flattered them. Plenty to say about their brand new build of a stadium Without doubt the access arrangements are amongst the worst I have encountered anywhere, coupled to shite facilities. An away section that houses close to 1600 fans had six urinals. By the end of the game you had to wade through pish on the floor. Food kiosk service amongst the slowest ever. Busses in underground to the stadium and back out after, left in a confined space, with no air and fifteen bus engines running for fucking ages. Couldn't even begin to tell you how many riot police on duty and not one of them capable or interested in doing anything about the little bastards shining lasers into our support. Atmosphere was just so flat in the city after the game. Athens itself from the little I saw of it is a great city and would certainly go back.
