  1. Sad news, they were married for a long time and she nursed him back to health after his stroke Thoughts with Sir Alex and the family.
  2. Nope Brian's lad
  3. I take a different view on that Excellent result and well worth the twenty year wait to appear on that stage.
  4. Gutted Not
  5. Or Harvey Barnes
  6. Think that pretty much anyone that wants one will get one unless of course we win our next three games in the competition as the chance to qualify will swell the numbers
  7. Ticket details for Helsinki away announced today. Marginally over 1500 tickets we are getting. Seriously doubted I would qualify for a ticket but actually qualify for first phase
  8. From back in 2004, the five piece American band, Carbon Leaf, best known for their folk infused indie rock sound
  9. Absolutely gutted to hear the news yesterday. So fortunate to have seen him during his all too brief spell with us including being at the games where he scored four against The Victims and his hat trick at Tynecastle. With another four or five years in an Aberdeen shirt with him at full fitness, it is scary to think what he might of achieved. Thoughts with his family RIP Frank

    Celeb Deaths

Franny Lee, ex Man City player and one time club chairman passed away aged 79 Grew up in the early 70's watching the likes of Lee, Allan Clarke @ Leeds Utd, John Toshack @ Liverpool. Great players from a by gone age RIP Francis
  11. Just like being back in the 90's with Huntly sitting top of the pile
  12. Well been pretty much tied up with things all weekend. Long story short, I never saw any of the game on Saturday afternoon, but by fuck have I made up for it by watching the highlights a half dozen times or so. The Snake getting red carded and obviously the used car salesman getting his jotters (at serious financial cost to the Huns) just made the weekend better and better Outstanding result and pleased for Robson as the heat was turning up on him. I can also see a real togetherness starting to appear in the squad. One swallow does not a summer make and now we seem to have a but of confidence and momentum it is imperative that we keep it going until the international break. Is it circa £500k a victory on Thursday evening is worth to us ?
  13. Out Ryder Cup Red TV (at least for the start of the game) Family visiting 1-1 Devlin
  14. Words of wisdom Rico Give the lad a call and get him told
  15. Apologies for the source Surely the bit about being offered a new deal last term on lesser terms can't be correct https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/connor-barron-fresh-aberdeen-contract-31034744
  16. Allegedly, the two parties are back at the negotiating table Make it happen.

Agent Illya Kuryakin aka Scots actor David McCallum aged 90. Absolutely loved The Man From U.N C.L.E when I was growing up.
  18. Well, well get the popcorn in. Imagine this could be interesting New Caley manager is Duncan Ferguson
  19. Sorry I haven't articulated my point very well in my post. It was retrospective upgrade to red card that I was talking about and not VAR intervening at the time.
  20. Right I could be talking utter shite, let's be honest it wouldn'tbe the first time, but I seem to think a yellow can't be upgraded to red but a red can be downgraded to yellow. Sure Panda or Rico will confirm if I am actually right
  21. Is there any chance of Barron still signing that new contract. Whilst there weren't really any failures today, I thought that Barron was outstanding and was also very good on Thursday evening.
  22. Can't really argue with that Jute. Fair element of truth in that. Sad but true
  23. Cheers Panda, i will require a follow up procedure but just great to get home mate. Yesterday really was the day from hell. Hope you enjoyed your trip
  24. Well that was the trip that was. Really enjoyable, met some great folk, had laughs, beers snd the team did us proud. Met a number of Feankfurt fans and had great craic discussing football, the universal language of many worldwide. Journey home turned into a bit of a nightmare with German rail network seriously failing to live up to the German efficency theory. Almost missed the flight. Had a health scare yesterday and as a result was advised to go to a German hospital but took the chance on getting my flight instead and subsequently spend over six hours at A&E when I got back to Scottish soil, eventually being given the all clear to go home at 5.30am this morning. So after forty three years of European trips, has it put me off, has it fuck, see you in Helsinki at end of November. Stand Free fellow Dandies.
  25. Cheers min Main Square
