Much more open game than I expected to be honest - Inter had a lot of chances. Barca had some chances as well, Milito's goal looked offside and they should have had a penalty but overall it seemed like a fair result. 2nd leg is going to be a cracker - Barca attacking, Inter hitting on the break.

You were spot on - ended up 1-0 to New York. Crowd was over 24500 (capacity is 25000) and cracking atmosphere. Was actually a decent standard as well - far better than I was expecting.

Went for Skovdahl. Got us to two cup finals, and created an entertaining team. Don't really remember much about Smith/Scott.

Maybe because he was just trying to give Langfield a boot up the backside without humiliating him. Langfield has got fuck all to complain about, he hasn't been brilliant lately and has no God-given right to be selected. Yes he should definitely be dropping Kerr and McDonald - but as we have already established we have nobody to fill those positions. Of course there is another discussion about why we don't but that's for another day. At least he was trying to do something by swapping Langfield out. Langfield should keep his mouth shut and concentrate on do his job.
