  1. Chris McLaughlin ?@BBCchrismclaug Most club reps entered meeting via back door to avoid media. Would fans rather they walked up the stairs and faced the questions? #SPL Andrew ‘Bill’ Whyman ?@bill8259 @BBCchrismclaug most? Who went through the front door? Chris McLaughlin ?@BBCchrismclaug @bill8259 St Mirren, Ross County, Aberdeen.
  2. Wow, amazing statement from Clyde which should be sending shock waves through the hierarchy of Scottish football. UEFA/FIFA need to be paying attention to this horrendous situation.

    Saturday

    Raith Rovers season ticket.
  5. Good stuff GS, completely agree. If some SPL teams might struggle financially without newco then so be it, but I can't see it being anything other than in AFC's interests to see them punted out to Division 3, or punted out all together. As Celtic have gone disgracefully quiet, it's time for Aberdeen and (dare I say it) the likes of Hearts to take a lead in these matters, including putting a vote of no confidence in Doncaster on the table.
  6. People have gone out and bought season tickets in good faith because it was assumed that there were now enough no votes to reject newco. It now wouldn't surprise me if a heavily sanctioned newco is playing in the SPL next season. Will be the end of my association with everything to do with Scottish Fitba.
  7. Today's Scotsman. He's given the SFA a bit of a headache, which is interesting!
  8. Looks like vote is off. Glad I didn't buy a season ticket.
  9. As Turnbull Hutton has said, the SPL are trying to get the SFL to make the decision for them. Even though, there is nothing to vote on because newco has yet to be officially rejected from the SPL. It looks like the SPL want to know what the SFL will do first. What a farce.
  10. What a breath of fresh air the man is.
  11. From Chris McLaughlin on Twitter: "Neil Doncaster admits there's a chance that no firm decision will be taken today." What price there being a delay to the start of the season until certain people have what they want?
  12. If they postpone the vote then I think there will be a big backlash. Bunch of fucking cowards if they postpone it.
  13. I'm sick fed up of all of it. Could even do with the useless cunts at UEFA wading in and sorting out this blatant corruption at the top of Scottish football. If tomorrow's vote is postponed and/or turned into a secret ballot then that might be the final straw for me. At this rate next season will be getting postponed until newco are accommodated in the first or second tier of Scottish football. The whole thing's fucked, today has been a terrible day for Scottish football.
  14. Looks like the SFL get first chance to accept newco into division 1, if that doesn't happen then the SPL will vote newco into the SPL. [/theory]
  15. Willie Miller: "Rangers should be punished for the mistakes they made. Fans of other clubs have made their views clear and most seem to want them to start life again in the Third Division. Going to the bottom rung of the SFL would help Rangers clean up their past errors. "There has been talk of trying to find a way where a Rangers newco will be in the First Division. But clubs must listen to what their fans want to happen to Rangers. If the game suffers financially, so be it. "Scottish football should not be reorganising just because of Rangers’ problems."

  17. Turnbull Hutton should be knighted. Not only were his comments excellent, they are highly symbolic while walking up the steps at Hampden Park. Time for Doncaster and Regan to get the fuck out

    Andy Murray

Didn't see any of today's play but sounds like he played very well!?
  19. So either Doncaster or Sky are telling fibs. Given News Corp's history it could be either of the cunts (or both).
  20. From Jim Spence: "Up to 6 SPL clubs at risk according to Stewart Regan. Sounds like option being presented is first division or nothing" And folk question why some us are prepared to wash our hands with the SFA.

    Andy Murray

Lot of debate about whether Murray should have been on centre court, either last night or this morning, but I guess they shouldn't be showing any favouritism towards him. But in saying that, they're not called the All England Club for nothing.
  22. He's shifted position on this a couple of times now. He can GTF and his position is now untenable, and has been for a while. The SPL should be speaking to other media organisations if Sky/ESPN are talking about pulling the plug.
