I'm with Jute, I'd have preferred Milne to say that newco should be starting at the bottom rung of the SFL. His current statement is open to interpretation and caveats. If he wants them in Division 1 or Division 3 then his statement remains the same.

Any league that requires 2 specific teams to permanently be in it to protect the financial security of that league clearly has its priorities completely wrong and is a disaster waiting to happen. Any team who requires 2 specific teams to permanently be in the same league in order to help them avoid administration is being financially mismanaged IMHO and only has themselves to blame.

Do we take it from these tweets that the SFA are not on board with these proposals, and it is being spearheaded by the SPL? If so, I'll take back what I've been saying in other threads about the SFA involvement. Although its not clear whether a "senior Hampden source" is somebody in the SFA or not.

Not spending any money on the SFA until newco are dealt with properly. They are all over this plan to rape the fans and dump newco into division 1. They deserve nothing but contempt if they continue to attempt to push it through. Why protect a team that are part of the problem why our National team is so shite?
