  2. Comparing Bremner with Barton is utterly ludicrous IMHO opinion.
  3. Goes without saying but Barton is such a disgrace. What a prick. The Man City game is quite compelling viewing, QPR are spoiling things for them at the moment.

Watched One Day Removals last night. Very poorly acted but to be fair, there were some genuinely funny moments, much funnier than some of the so called black comedies that have come out of Hollywood recently. http://www.stirtonproductions.com/onedayremovals/home/Home_odr.html Some great Aiberdonian banter in it
  5. The Daily Ranger sticks the boot in....to David Murray.... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2012/05/12/rangers-in-crisis-sfa-dossier-reveals-how-david-murray-was-aware-of-craig-whyte-s-record-86908-23856470/
  6. The funding wasn't coming from the council through, it was effectively a loan paid back through business rates or something. They weren't ploughing £90M in, unless something's changed. Granted, there's been a hell of a lot of pish written (from both sides) about this whole debacle. I would have liked to have seen something decent happen, but didn't think the "winning" design was the best. I don't believe that Labour have a mandate to bin it, given that the majority voted to take it to the next stage, which may or may not have lead to it being built but it should be going to the next stage IMHO. Union Street is a street of closed shops and bookies, we could do with something decent in Union Terrace Gardens.
  7. In what way?
  8. Great final point there CtS. Just to add to the mix, the two air ambulance helicopters that were grounded earlier in the week, are operated by Bond. Could all be coincidence though. But it sounds like the pilots did a great job today, whether it was needed or not. Doesn't look like a lot of fun:
  9. "Can now confirm my new 60min BBC Scotland Investigates documentary on Rangers crisis will be broadcast at 8pm on Weds 23rd May" That'll be followed by another BBC boycott then! Somebody seems to be having a competition to see who is the biggest cunt that can be linked with the Rangers takeover. First Souness, now Gordon Ramsay! Piers Morgan next perhaps?
  10. Correct on both points but it's still a bit worrying. I'm on a platform at the moment, West of Shetland. I got here through Bristows but the operator are in negotiations with Bond and from the chat on board today, nobody is particularly enthused by the thought of shifting to Bond. And, apologies, the second most recent (fatal) incident was not using an EC225.
  11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-18020646 At what point does Bond's suitability as an operator of offshore helicopters come into question? That's three incidents they've had in recent years. Thankfully all is safe and well today, but either they're not doing their maintenance checks probably, or there are problems with the EC225.
  12. sar·casm ? ?[sahr-kaz-uhm] noun 1. harsh or bitter derision or irony. 2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark. no 1. (a negative used to express dissent, denial, or refusal, as in response to a question or request) 2. (used to emphasize or introduce a negative statement): Not a single person came to the party, no, not a one. I think that speaks for itself.
  13. eh....I hope to fuck that Fergie isn't involved.
  14. Surprised this is being met with negativity when you consider how pish we've been recently. I don't see it as a big deal. Although how do you captain from the bench?
  15. Jesus wept. The word on the street is........Souness!!!
  16. Just shows that Labour will do anything for power.
  17. I agree. From his point of view, he's probably said all the right things and tried to be fairly dignified about it all. I notice Graham Spiers has called Miller a "waste of space" but yet a few days ago was saying that Miller's plan "might just work". Certain journalists have certainly gone down in my estimations throughout this debacle.
  18. A decent article up on the BBC site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-17999964
