I finished the Stieg Larsson Millennium Trilogy - outstanding fiction. (watched all three extended films as well)
Now reading something more light hearted...
Pretty damning evidence. Liverpool's immediate reaction when the 8 game ban was announced now looks pretty stupid.
A decent summary of the findings here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/dec/31/luis-suarez-patrice-evra-racism-verdict1
Amazing gig and a great send off for Mani. Very pleased they did Kowalski!
Not been at the Barras for a few years but its still the best venue. The sound is amazing!
We're needing people that can create the killer pass for our strikers, be that wide men or somebody in the middle, but we desperately need somebody that can create some chances.
Saw it this afternoon and it's a good film but not as good as the original IMHO. The definitive version for me is the three hour Swedish version.
But it was a good film which more or less kept true to the book with a few annoying tweaks. Opening sequence was excellent. Although Rooney Mara is very good in it, she is not a patch on Noomi Rapace IMHO.
I don't know if I would have a different opinion if I saw the Hollywood version first, but I prefer the darker, eerie, moodier original.
A couple of folk I was with preferred this new version, but hadn't seen the extended version of the original (only the cinematic version).
Anyone seen the Hollywood version of Dragon Tattoo? Just wondering how it compares to the original. In two minds about going to see it but I'm a big fan of the books so I'll probably go out of curiosity.
