  1. Kobayashi is my favourite driver. He's surprisingly not particularly reckless for somebody who is always looking to overtake. I reckon he'll be snapped up by a big team in the next year or 2! Di Resta seems to be doing quite well too.
  2. That's my Rockness ticket sold, the line-up is rank. Does anybody know anything about a proposed city centre festival in Aberdeen this summer? I don't think its a "Free on the Dee" type thing, but perhaps might attract some half decent names?
  3. What a dreadful season
  4. 1. Ballabriggs (Jason Maguire) 14-1 2. Oscar Time (Sam Waley-Cohen) 14-1 3. Don't Push It (Tony McCoy) 9-1 4. State Of Play (Paul Moloney) 28-1 5. Niche Market (Harry Skelton) 16-1

  6. Interesting stuff. I can't get excited about 3D TV and I'll watch the Beeb's coverage in HD on Saturday/Sunday, mainly because there are no adverts.
  7. But what if it was a league game against them?
  8. I hate to be negative but I really do fear the worst with all our injuries, and sadly I am glad I can't make it.
  9. I've been checking out Cut Copy and Fenech-Soler. I'd recommend both if you like stuff such as Delphic or Hot Chip.
  10. I'm on Don't Push It (again) and Silver by Nature, both e/w. Bit concerned that too many seem to be tipping Silver by Nature.
  11. Seems a bit weird that the BBC only have the Saturday/Sunday live coverage now. Sky's coverage was quite good last night, with Monty doing some commentating. Anyone going up to the Scottish Open? We're going up on the Friday!

  13. Intriguing interview with Brown. The police are involved. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/9444871.stm

    Comedians

It goes without saying but I wouldn't recommend Jason Manford. I got dragged along last night to help out a friend who had a spare ticket. As expected he was very mainstream and not particularly funny IMHO. Fair play to him though, he was on stage for nearly 3 hours! Puts Frankie Boyle's 1 hour set to shame!

    Films

Watched Unthinkable tonight. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0914863/ Some straight-to-DVD thriller that I got from Love Film. I actually thought it was pretty good albeit it a little far fetched. It's about interrogation of a terrorist (Michael Sheen - who is brilliant in it).
  16. Boyle can GTF.
  17. Looks like there was a bit of a rammy in the tunnel at the end!
  18. Considine according to today's Evening Express.
  19. Have you seen the trailer for his obituary?
  20. I think the sacking of Neale Cooper was harsh. This could be the real reason why Peterhead are bottom of the second division...
  21. Yeah I thought that seemed a bit low too.
  22. Presumably his injury is far worse than originally feared, as there's been no official talk of him returning to training yet (as far as I'm aware).
