I read a few folk saying this book was pish? Been pretty decent so far. I had no idea he was blinded for a couple of months when he was a teenager.
Not reached the Dons years yet but I'm definitely enjoying it. Far more match detail than Big Dunc's book.

Almost finished this book. Interesting that when he talks about clearing out the deadwood when he and Pele arrive at the Dons, it is Bisconti and Guntveit that are getting the criticism. Bisconti in particular looked very uninterested by the sounds of things.
