  1. Second goal was a beauty: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rK6vyUQ6kQ
  2. Blimey, Harry Carpenter dead: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/front_page/8580058.stm
  3. He still managed to sign players. I smell shite.
  4. At least the team showed a bit of fight yesterday. A few folk left at 0-2 and I don't blame them as we were awful for the first half hour. I am not sure what formation we were playing, but it appeared to be a 4-3-3 up against a 4-4-2 which didn't seem to work. We played well in the second half though and maybe could have sneaked it. It was a more encouraging performance but when the fuck will we next win?
  5. We'd never come back up, we'd be the next Leeds - no doubt in my mind, except we'd have no fans.
  6. Incredible performance from him last night, some amazing goals. Messi > Rooney Kluivert is now rating him higher than Maradona.
  7. At least there will be something to applaud tomorrow: http://www.afc.co.uk/articles/20100319/minutes-applause_2212158_1999387
  8. I'm going! Reckon it'll be 0-0.
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p006w4d3 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p006w4fv I know it's for charity but FFS.
  10. Jesus wept. We're off topic, but I'm donating purely on Eddie Izzard's efforts, his TV programme has been astonishing.
  11. Where's this come from? I think any comparisons to the Ferguson era are not a good idea.
  12. Yep, and we finished 4th. He's currently pissing on his own shoes.
  13. It was good of them to compare Don Revie's Leeds with Jimmy Calderwood's Aberdeen though.
  14. By Harper's standards, it's a reasonable read, however: While it would be great to see some more good young players in the team, our experienced ones aren't doing the business and I think we need to try and recruit some new, more experienced players as well as looking at up and coming players. Is this suggesting that Milne has put more money in?
  15. Nail on head.
  16. Gothenburg reunion dinner?
  17. Xenophobia.
  18. If Stewart Milne has anything to do with it, the back door will probably fall off.
  19. Rumour going about that George Burley has been approached.
  20. Thought they'd moved it to Pittodrie for a minute there!
  21. The solution is we get a manager in with a better track record of working on limited resources. Another part of the solution is that the board release more funds to the manager, whether it is McGhee or not.
  22. The writing was on the wall at the Sigma game, unfortunately.
