The big problem for the board, is not where we end up in the league (as I doubt we'll get relegated) but its what effect this piss poor season is going to have on season ticket sales for next year. Do they back the manager in the hope the fans will return, or do they sack him in the hope the fans will return?
McGhee is not doing well enough with a squad that is good enough to be in the top six IMHO.
He won't/shouldn't get a second season if he doesn't turn it round ASAP. I fear the worst on Saturday.
I would have thought Mezzanine has his reasons for chucking it in - whether he didn't get enough support from fans, or the club, or a mixture of both. It's more the likely the apathy spreading throughout the support had a bearing.
Would love to hear what the "fans rep" on the board had to say though.
Well the race was pish.
I don't think removing the refueling has enhanced the entertainment, as the pit stops are just a procession now - all done in 4 - 4.5 seconds.
Somebody's put all of Peter Graves scenes from Airplane on to one video:

Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
The main reason I missed one home game this season was because the football on display has been awful for most of the season, and I had something better to do that night. If they don't sort it out on the pitch, I'm not renewing my season ticket.
Should be a cracking season this year. First time I've really looked forward to a new season for a long time.
Four teams all looking very strong (Red Bull, McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari). It's gonna be good!
