  1. Interestingly Strachan was seen visiting the new training complex, very late last night... Stayed at the Highland Hotel in town.
  2. He might not be enjoying it but rightly or wrongly I feel he genuinely wants to be part of the new training facilities + stadium.
  3. I'm sure the irony of a thread entitled "The world according to TRUTH, not western lies" containing praise about Trump and his hammering of Iran has not been lost on many. Jesus wept.
  4. I can see what BoJo is trying to do with this people vs parliament/establishment thing. I think a significant proportion (presumably leave voters) will buy into it and it will be backed by the Daily Mail and the Sun etc..., but Corbyn (for all his faults) was correct to say the establisment is actually the Tory front bench and many many people realise this, so I think the people vs establishment could backfire (if there is an election soon and BoJo is still PM). I agree Corbyn is hopeless. I think Labour would be miles ahead in the polls if somebody like Starmer was leader. That said I don't think the polls are going to matter a huge amount at the next election as there is going to be a massive push for tactical voting and I think the Tories will be in trouble - and particularly I wouldn't be surprised if BoJo himself loses his seat. I expect the SNP and Lib Dems (in England) to pick up a lot of seats. Quite where Farage fits in I am not sure, surely the Tories will need to do a deal or they will be truly fucked if they have not delivered Brexit (which they won't have) by the election.
  5. Confirmed. SPOTY: Aberdeen to host BBC Sports Personality of the Year for first time http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/49718599

  7. The Capture on BBC1 has been very good. Hope it maintains its high standards and doesn’t get too silly by the end.
  8. On a Sunday evening ?
  9. Misleading the Queen is untenable. Even some of the happy clappers that read the Daily Mail will be alarmed at that. He’s fucked.
  10. Perhaps its time to get Craig Brown back
  11. Taxi driver told me its coming to the P&J Live/TECA this year (although I can't find any evidence of this). That's a bit of a coup for Aberdeen. A good opportunity for Lewis Hamilton to visit Espionage.
  12. Amber Rudd walks.
  13. Whilst this whole mess was created (and has been continued) by the Tories, the main issue has always been the Irish border. It was never properly discussed, or conveniently largely ignored, during the referendum debates. There are posts in this very thread from 2 years ago saying there are no solutions to this. Although a unified Ireland is probably the only solution for a clean and orderly Brexit. I have never believed Brexit would take place. Oh and I see BoJo's brother can't be bothered with it all now either.
  14. Ken Clarke was fantastic. And BoJo is making Corbyn look like a leader!! I had some box sets to catch up on but this has been great stuff to watch. Fucking anarchic House of Lords doing their best to kill off the bill. Surely most of them will need some sleep at their age.
  15. Well he should’ve been spared for standing up for what he believes in. But it just seems odd - Boris claims Churchill is his hero.
  16. I hate the Tories but expelling Churchill’s grandson around the 80th anniversary of WWII. Really? Opposition need to stick to their guns and not vote for a GE. A vote of no confidence followed by some sort of interim government would be the preferred and funniest outcome. Cummings the master tactician
  17. SAF to open it on 31st Oct: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-49565717
  18. It’s all about the election. Cummings will lose BoJo everything.
  19. <a href="https://ibb.co/dBcyLnt"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/Y2WGyvX/DC8-DC68-E-8512-4-D26-B1-C1-A6-D98-FA15-DE4.jpg" alt="DC8-DC68-E-8512-4-D26-B1-C1-A6-D98-FA15-DE4" border="0"></a> So the i newspaper reads DonsTalk
  20. Agree with some of this but Davidson has shafted Boris, they might lose all their seats North of the Border, and all seats will probably go to the SNP and Lib Dems. Happy days. South of the border there will be alliances between remain parties which will minimise the damage that these Eton cunts could do to the country. They might be leading in the polls but I just can't see them getting a majority at all. That said, I think a vote of no confidence followed by temporary government (possibly not with Corbyn at the helm) and extension of Brexit date is most likely option. Unless a legal move is successful.
  21. Pitchy McPitchface
  22. Fair play to Top Gear. It was hilarious last night, some genuinely LOL moments. Best series for a long time, including some of the later Clarkson/May/Hammond series which were beginning to go stale anyway.
  23. I think it looks great and will definitely be getting it.

    Andy Murray

Amazing. Always a winner! But what a weekend for Lopez, outstanding for someone who’s not a spring chicken.
  25. It’s the first time I’ve seen any women’s football since Richard Foster played for us.
