  1. I haven't seen any attempt at passing and moving in the last two games, I'm not sure where this "very direct high tempo passing game" is coming from, as I think its a myth. I've not seen anything to suggest we're playing any differently to last season.
  2. I'm not sure your second point is true. Fyvie and Young have more drive than Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, and should play ahead of them. Sadly Fyvie was looking a bit out of depth last night and was hooked. We can't rely on him every week, he's far too young.
  3. You lot are terrible, I deliberately didn't even mention Calderwood in the O/P. I'm basing my stance on McGhee only being able to piss out of the cock he's got, and at the moment he's pissing on his shoes. But instead he made them captain and vice captain.
  4. The night has been bad enough, thank you very much!
  5. Agreed. Very powerful presence up front. Made a right fool of Ifil. Thought Paterson did quite well. MacLean was okay but not much happened up front again for us.
  6. Fucking abysmal performance. Only started pressing in the last 10-15 minutes. Falkirk created a hell of a lot more chances than us.
  7. I'm not sure I can endure another home performance like the last two. Sadly I fear McGhee isn't up to the job. Some folk can talk about "transitional" seasons all they like but we are not doing the simple things correct - at the back we are an absolute joke (Ifil is shocking and needs dropped asap), and we have no style of play whatsoever (we are neither passing it on the deck, or hoofing long balls - fuck knows what we are supposed to be doing!). Getting extremely frustrated, and if we continue to play like this we could get dragged into a relegation battle. The last two home games have been like something out of the Paterson era. There were some serious pissed off folk tonight. McGhee's transfer dealings need to be questioned also. I'm not commenting on Paterson and MacLean but Ifil and Grassi are both rubbish. While I am far from being a fan of Maguire, all we seem to have succeeded in the transfer window is reduce our number of options up front - and this was pretty much the number 1 area of concern so far this season. Saturday is massive. It's one thing getting knocked out of the cups by lower league opposition, when we normally still have a chance of Europe, but the season could be well and truly over on Saturday. McGhee might be working with limited funds and limited quality of players, but he should be doing a lot better with both. Things need to turn around or I will consider not renewing for the first time in 10 years. Nothing worse than sitting in sub zero conditions watching a team who haven't won at Pittodrie in decades play us off the park, and create far more chances than us. Cue knee jerk reaction accusations...
  8. From the P&J:
  9. Fyvie as well of course. Agreed if we've got one more deal to be done, I hope it's a striker.
  10. Still think there will be more. Duff to ICT or Killie. And we might get someone else in.

  12. Kevin Kyle and Maguire going in opposite directions?

  14. I just hope we're definitely getting MacLean in and one other striker.
  15. Bye bye Lee! [move]             [/move]
  16. Joined Ipswich on loan.
  17. Q: What do 9 out of 10 people enjoy? A: Gang rape.
  18. From redweb: "I am still working very very hard to make sure there is someone else here by tomorrow night for the game against Falkirk. We will miss Lee (Miller) if he goes, but hopefully we will compensate Lee's loss by bringing someone in. "Part of the money from Lee would be available to me to sign players, but it doesn't necessarily mean I will be spending it now. "As I understand it Steven MacLean hasn't quite reached a severance payment with Plymouth, but I am still hopeful I will be able to bring him in. "We need someone who can hold the ball up and link the play for the midfield players. He is one player I am looking at as well as a few others."

    Andy Murray

Exceptional talent who's never won a major? Possibly. Murray is often criticised (mainly by the English press) for showing no emotion and being a dour faced cunt. With that in mind, I didn't have too much of a problem with the tears yesterday, he must have been gutted.
  20. You're going to Iraq? I smell shiite.
  21. Yeah but Boro are in urgent need for a dynamic striker.
