  2. Leeds have just made it 2-2 at White Hart Lane with a 94 minute penalty. Another cracking cup tie. Leeds have certainly created much entertainment in the FA Cup this season!
  3. Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee: "We set out to try and pass the ball and get in-between them and mix it up. "To a large extent, it worked for us, we had a lot of possession and eventually we got a goal. "Derek stayed in the team because he's worked ever so hard to come back in to the reckoning, and he thoroughly deserved to be in the team and got his reward for the effort in getting the winning goal. "It takes a lot of energy to play the way we tried to play today, in the midfield particularly, but we still felt comfortable." Kilmarnock manager Jimmy Calderwood: "Our final ball let us down, but we were quite comfortable. "We started the second-half sloppy, and I'm chuffed for wee Derek that he got it, but the difference between the two teams was Darren Mackie, his hold-up play was fantastic. "I think we dominated at the end, and it was one-way traffic, but the damage was done early in the second-half."
  4. Where's the option for only 1? I know we won, but why the fuck did we play 1 up front? Mackie was running around on his own with very little support.
  5. Just in. Calderwood got a very warm welcome from most of the crowd, with a lot of people standing to applaud, particularly in the main stand. It was a horrendous first half, basically like watching Aberdeen v Aberdeen. One up front to lower league opposition at home? WTF! It was a better second half, once we'd got the goal - and it was a cracking volley from Young, a real peach, and he was very unlucky with another great shot at the end. Mackie and Young our best players today. Mackie put in a tremendous shift and was my MOTM, but I don't remember him getting one chance in front of goal. Kerr was infuriating. Whilst everybody else tried to keep up the tempo, he seemed to kill every move when he received the ball. Nevermind, it's the result that counts.
  6. He counts, I just didn't vote for him if he was only there for a couple of years out of the 20.
  7. WTF are wing-backs? Voted McKimmie and McNaughton, on account of Robertson leaving in 1991.

    Andy Murray

I would venture to suggest that it separates him from almost every other British sportsperson alive.

    Andy Murray

Hasn't won a grand slam ergo he choked? He didn't choke in the US Open Final, he looked absolutely shattered after beating Nadal in the semi.
  10. Crack on Reekie min!

    Andy Murray

Has there been many instances of this happening?
  12. Most people would go mental if there were family were tied up by intruders whilst fearing the worst. I'd have wanted to have kicked fuck out of the cunt too. Mind you, did Madeley not once try and sneak a crate of wine out of Tesco? So a bit rich there.
  13. Vince Cable is great, and Charles Kennedy is still excellent and really should still be the leader. As for Madeley. He's a prick, but I don't disagree with what he said about protecting your family/home from burglars/intruders.
  14. Anyone else got an uneasy feeling about this game? Will be interesting to see the reception Calderwood gets. I will be neither applauding or booing him.
  15. He managed to slag off Dundee Utd, and the Old Firm, and leave us untouched! I'm surprised the Daily Retard sponsored a programme showing one of the worst days for the Old Firm at the end.
  16. Wasn't a bad programme, good to see Fergie interviewed for it. Stuart Cosgrove was good, enjoyed him belittling the Jutes at the start. Would have love it if Malcolm Tucker had called Jim MacLean a cunt!
  17. O/T but I was at school with someone called Tam Paxton.
  18. Good man Quite a lot of new albums I'm looking forward to this year - BSP, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Gorillaz, Alabama 3 for a start. The Delphic album is pretty good. Bit of a cross between New Order and Orbital.
  19. I think the programme is just about 1979. Anyway, as its on STV I don't think anyone should be getting their hopes up about it.
  20. Bolton 2-0 up at Arsenal!
  21. Where's the option for "None of the bastards"? Christ, have we ever had such a poor selection of "strikers" at the club!
  22. I voted for one, as I assume Zander returning to full fitness will be just like having a new signing...
  23. Follow it with a harbour pub crawl finishing with a rammy in the Crown & Anchor and I'm in!
  24. I got it.
  25. White Hart Lane is good, lots of noise from the home support. Boleyn Ground is another good one for atmosphere.
