Why 18 months? Is this because under Miller we've gone forward on both the financial, youth and full team and Spiers can't admit it? Don't see why the last 18 months is suddenly the issue, considering we've just changed the manager, who needs time. Not one of Spiers' best articiles IMHO.

Minutes silence for Robert Enke in the England v Brazil game wasn't exactly impeccably observed.

I'm not one to criticise a professional goalkeeper, but I think Robert Enke should have come off the line a bit a quicker. ---------------------------------------- Apparently the coach of Hannover 96 told his team they were to take on Locomotiv in a friendly, but Robert Enke took it a bit too literally.

It didn't look like pen at the time, looked like two players falling over each other.

Entertaining game today, mainly because St Johnstone certainly didn't come to sit back - it was decent football from both sides and the best match I've seen this season (probably the only half decent one!). But we still have the same problems we had under Calderwood - sitting back when we're 1-0 up, and baffling substitutions. Miller was utter gash today, and when I saw Wright ready to come on, I think the whole ground expected him to replace Miller - but he replaced Pawlett instead (who was excellent). Pawlett and Paton both looking very good! Midfield doing slightly better, Ifil tackling extremely well, but Miller still atrocious.

Excellent performance today, fully deserved to be MOTM. Shocking decision to sub him (unless he was injured of course). We lost all our drive going forward when he went off.
