Finished it last and I wasn't too impressed it. I think its the poorest of his books and he seemed to try and do a bit too much with the story this time. By the end I thought it was bordering on complete nonsense!

Just watched the 2nd episode tonight. Quite sad stuff - he's definitely putting a very brave face on it.

He's certainly improved since Mallorca-gate. I thought he was finished after that but fair play to him.
Pity his kicking invariably lands in the cemetery though.
A "killer season" under McGhee would probably be 3rd place. No thanks. I'd prefer consistency over a period of time. He'd do no better than Calderwood.
