Totally agree. Hope he can do something when he gets his fitness back. We're needing some goals, particularly away from home where his pace should be an asset.
Rangers game appears to be on the 13th, so good chance BBC will show the Bayern home game?
For the return leg, both games appear to be on at around the same time.
I can envisage the rest of the league season being much the same - i.e. we do well at home, struggle away, and the teams around us move up and down as well as there is not one team consistent enough to finish 3rd (at the moment), so it could be pretty tight in the league. I still think we'll finish 3rd or 4th.
Next two cup games are now massive!
He's signed. Doesn't confirm how long for.

Well the ballot for tickets is tomorrow. I'm hoping less than the allocation have applied.
Fingers crossed.
Have supporters clubs been given all the tickets they requested?
Are you a season ticket holder? If you download a form from www.afc.co.uk and post it asap you might just make it in time for tomorrow's deadline.

Wouldn't miss it for the world!
I do get the feeling there are less going than went to Madrid though. Perhaps people are skint because they thought Madrid would be the trip. Some others maybe couldn't get a pass, or time off work.
The club have introduced a facility where season ticket holders can purchase their seat for the cup replay on line:

Good idea!
Wondering what sort of crowd we'll get from this. Don't know about anyone else but I can't get through to the ticket office and there are big queues down at Pittodrie. I already have my Bayern ticket but I hope the rush for Bayern ticket eases so people can get tickets for the cup replay. Not sure if it will be worse tomorrow when those with two vouchers can apply for Bayern tickets.
Just finished reading Willie Miller - "The Don" and I thought it was an excellent read.
As you would expect there is plenty of reminiscing about the "glory days" but he is critical about certain people, including Ian Donald, Ebbe, Zoltan Varga and Keith Wyness which was interesting. He is certainly no fan of Ian Donald and makes it clear he would not have returned to the club unless Donald was moved out of a decision making role at the club. You can't beat a bit of Ian Donald bashing!!!
On his famous incident with Alan Hansen in the world cup, WM was remarkably even-handed when accepting partial blame for it.
There was at least one error in the book - seemingly Montrose play at Glebe Park!
Nowhere does it say (as reported by somebody on The Hat) that he said he would never allow a Gothenburg great to manage the Dons while he was still director.
BBC carrying the story now aswell. Lunchtime press conference expected after all three were offered contracts on Saturday.

"The Dons, meanwhile, have dismissed reports linking them with a loan move for Everton's Icedlandic midfielder Bjarni Vidarsson."
