Thank fuck the internet wasn’t around when we were sniffing around St Mirren’s manager as a replacement for Billy McNeil.

I enjoyed his first press conference, candid and honest with a bit of humour. It’s an intriguing appointment and he’s getting my full support. Curious that Kenny Miller seems to have a lot to say about it!

Jesus wept. I can’t believe we’re getting the “he’s a hun” shite. Much of our past success has involved players or managers who have supported and/or played for one of the Infirm.

I think it’s a good move getting Warnock in until end of season. I can see him trying to stick it to the Infirm and I think the players will get a rocket up their backsides. It’s a refreshing change from going down the usual “someone who knows Scottish football” route - a route that’s taken us absolutely nowhere since McInnes.
