Bail decision due at 12.30. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get bail, although I'm not sure he should get bail as the fundamental question still exists - why did he not check that it was his girlfriend in the bathroom before unloading his gun?
Prosecution will need to up their game for the full trial.
Prosecution have fallen to pieces.
Still don't get how Oscar is supposed to have got past the bed and shot someone in the bathroom without checking it wasn't his girlfriend first!
A tweet from the BBC's Douglas Fraser:
"Hearts' ground, Tynecastle, may have to be sold as Ukio, its Lithuanian owner's bank, is wound up, local Bloomberg reporter tells @bbcgms"
His statement also said "he got up and went to the balcony to close a sliding door and get a fan." and then "Feeling vulnerable without his prosthetic legs, he got his gun and shot through the door"
He either went to the balcony unaided by his prosthetic legs, or his defence have made a mess of things with that statement.
Not sure what to make of this story. Helluva tragedy if he has accidentally killed her but surely he would have noticed she wasn't in bed before firing shots into the bathroom door?
I disagree. If you're both suggesting that the stadium is going to be on the side of Dyce near the station then Dyce will be gridlocked by those not taking the train, away fans etc... as there is no decent road infrastructure on that side of the airport. If the stadium goes on the airport side, nearer the link to the AWPR then that would be better for those travelling by car or bus, but it would be nowhere near the train station so nobody could get there by train.
Dyce doesn't make sense IMHO.
Seriously, WTF the fuck? Dyce? One of the worst areas in Aberdeen for traffic. And shifting the AECC? Have the council gone mad?
I'm not sure I fully understand the story - are they talking about moving the Dons and AECC to Dyce?
I think the initial story about him being surprised by his girlfriend and accidentally shooting her seems to be changing round - with talk of their being previous domestic incidents at the house.
Helluva story though.
Anyway, just because he has no legs doesn't mean to say that he's not armed.
The Vatican says that the Pope has resigned because he no longer has the strength to carry out his duties.
Fair enough.
At his age it can't be easy holding down a struggling 10 year-old.
