Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
tlg1903 replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
Down to ten men inside 15 minutes. Mcoist almost in tears on Co comms trying to argue that whilst it was denying a goal scoring opportunity it wasn't common sense to send a player off for a red card offence. Hilarious. This massively plays into our hands for Sunday, Bilbao are going to run them ragged. -

Seems a good a place as any to put this. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/snooker/graeme-dott-suspended-world-championship-b2730217.html Graham Dott has been charged with kiddy fiddling. Not particularly surprised about this really.... Nonce hun cunt -
I can't speak for anyone but myself but, for me, yeah it's right up there with the best I've ever seen. You don't often see a keeper beat at his near post like that let alone from that distance and even more so for the goalie to be taking no blame.

Whatever else you want to say about der hun at the moment they really struggle to keep a clean sheet. Last time was 10 games ago on the second of feb at home to county. Clean sheets have not exactly been our forte this season either 2bf though we defo look a bit more solid since the January window. All in, I'm feeling pretty good about this one. I think if we get ahead first and early on we could do to them what we should have done to them last time we played them at home. I want hun tears this time....... though I would accept Barron leaving the ground in an ambulance as compensation if it doesn't happen. I would maybe drop Gueye for Dabbagh for this one and probably wouldn't be too surprised to see Okkels in on the left to track Taverniers forward runs. That would likely move Keskinen to the right as he seems to be undroppable despite the fact he's not exactly hit the heights we have hoped he would have so far other than brief glimpses. Other than that I wouldn't change much. Mitov is the only obvious choice but unless he is fully fit and not likely to aggravate an injury I would stick with Doohan who has done just fine IMO. The only curveball I can see Thelin throwing would be to bring Devlin back in at RB but I can't see him dropping Jensen so that would mean either LB (and I wouldn't be taking Shinnie out of the team, especially against them) or moving him to midfield. If that were to happen I suspect it would be Clarkson to make way purely so we don't have two guys under 6ft in the centre. Out bed as i have birthday the night before tv may go back to bed depending on hangover 5-1 gubbing Keskinen, Nisbetx2, Dabbagh and Okkels

The second free kick is one the best I've ever seen

I was thinking of the 4-3 game at Macdiarmid

That last sentence could be applied to 95% of games we play against St J

Yeah I like him as well, hopefully he fills out a wee bit as he's still a bit gangly.

SC Semi: Hearts vs Dons - 19/04/25 - 12:30PM

Are Scottish cup suspensions not seperate from league as it's an SFA competition not SPFL? -
Overall I think he's done pretty well, he's certainly kept them in the hunt to stay in the league and that is a clear improvement on what they were when he arrived. I certainly wouldn't write them off just yet despite the 5 point gap though of course they are still favourites to go down.

I think we need to be looking at that anyway re euro squad registration rules. To have a 25 man squad at least 4 must be trained at club 18-21 and 8 trained at a club from the same nation. Basically, 8 Scottish trained players four of which from your youth system. U 21 players don't need to be registered as long as they have been at the club for two seasons. For every place you can't fill you will be penalised by 1 squad place. I've been running an Aberdeen save on Football manager and I had to resort to re-signing Scott Wright and Clark Robertson to help with it (Wright did really well for me for a season and half 2bf and scored a few winners against the huns which gave me a wry smile).

Our draw there a few weeks ago doesn't look so bad now. Kudos to Valekari it has to be said, he's been a good addition to the league.

Manc knows how he started his career. This forum heard me moan an awful lot at him playing midfield when he signed

Banana skin dodged

Whilst the ugly sisters are in the mix a 16, or bigger, team league will never happen.
-
Shit, I'll come on Sportsound if you want. Can't do any worse than some of the numpties that have been on
-
Completely agree. There's only one change I would make to the setup and that is to make the relegation play offs fairer. I.E second bottom faces 4th and 2nd play 3rd in a semi final rather than 4th playing 3rd then second before the winner facing 2nd bottom.

You scissor someone with a tackle you are riding your luck these days.

This one has banana skin written all over it. With Don Cowie fast becoming the new Levien in terms of how his team plays I'm not expecting a classic. I am very much expecting a difficult afternoon though as we can't defend crosses and county have loads of height in their team. That said, if we can move the ball like we did at the weekend they will struggle to live with us..... If. It will be interesting to see if JT makes any changes or sticks with the same 11. I would would consider dropping Gueye myself, I just don't rate him through the middle and he really rode his luck at the weekend re not getting sent off. That said though his stature could be handy against a team full of giants..... Fingers crossed we can get an early goal otherwise it's going to be a tense afternoon In either drinking in Dingwall or Inverness away end Back to Inverness and we will see what the management says we are doing in the evening 2-1 Dons Nisbet and Okkels

That it's the Easter weekend doesn't help either. I know a few folks that really want to go but they have been told no because of family easter events. -
I enjoyed that a lot though we REALLY need to be doing better with cross balls. All the plaudits have already been said so I won't parrot them but I will say I agree that was Okkels best game in red. His assist for Dorrington was simple enough but still a bit under rated imo. I can't help but wonder what he would look like if he could get himself a goal. Anyway, regardless whether or not we keep him, with the split approaching and the semi on the horizon it's no bad time for him to start putting in a more noteworthy contribution so here's hoping this isn't a plateau.

Not so sure about that last sentence, from his first Interview I've felt Nisbet genuinely has some affection for the Dons and I think that will have grown. I also think he is very career focused now, he was talking in his last RTV interview about how much better he is looking after himself, and playing for Aberdeen got him back in the Scotland squad. I think he will want to stay unless a better career opportunity (and I've no idea what that looks like btw but I know it ain't Millwall) comes up not a salary 2bh. If we could get him for 750 k that would be a bargain I would say. He's only just turned 28 and we could easily get 4 good seasons out of him..... probably more given he's never been a player that has relied on pace.

The Bulgaria coach chucked him under the bus for conceding two easy goals as well.
