Oh I got the reference . Wilson was a funny one for us, I mind him scoring a couple of worldies insterpersing a highly impressive attempt to steal the nickname "Casper" from Gary MacDonald. He almost succeeded ffs Not watched a lot of Killie or Hearts in recent times 2bh but my neighbour is usually pretty level headed. Hope he kicks on though, Scotland need more strikers.
-
Dunno like, he looks pretty handy. My Jambo neighbour would happily suck him off if the opportunity presented itself.
-
Absolutely delighted for him. I said when he was announced that I wasn't sure about his attitude and he really has made me eat my words. He's 100% made the Scotland squad on merit
-
I vaguely remember Rob Maclean saying something about it on RTV in an early league cup game maybe but, yeah, don't take it as gospel.
-
Easily goal of the tournament so far from what I've seen.
-
It's not been great, livi weren't too bad 1st half 2bf
-
What a fucking ping from Carey to put St J ahead
-
I was under the impression Thelin had spotted Ambrose when at Elfsborg and told the recruitment team he wanted him.
-
I'm with Panda, Ambrose did alright when he came on. For him that's definite improvement as he's really not done much since the winner against utd. I agree with Rico that he should have gone on loan in January and if Sokler doesn't pick up a long term injury he probably does. Do I think he's going to work out long term? Probably not, no..... but I'm not convinced of that either. No offence intended to anyone but I do think some of you guys are just a bit too quick to write a player off 2bh. I wouldn't have to go very far back on this board to find plenty of comments saying Gueye and Morris are not good enough and should be no-where near the first team.
-
I actually thought Ambrose looked alright when he came on.
-
Well if it wasn't game over it is now, cracking finish from shinniesta
-
Far from convinced of that
-
I know what you mean, he's had a couple of poor touches at the worst possible time but his movement has been really good.
-
Excellent from Nisbet, he's arguably our most important player now. Delighted for Dabbagh as well as he's doing all the right things
-
Apologies for the source but I found it an interesting enough read. Perhaps we are writing Okkels off too early but time will tell https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jeppe-okkels-faces-aberdeen-ticking-34811120?fbclid=IwY2xjawI3o71leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHdNNcAe400iCVdHKO0LP1li9g4dh52ib8WPNlcrIPjsx2PlXyehsf2C_0Q_aem_NYBFKOdaL_-dh7ZGM38rGg

Looks like doak is out for the rest of the season
-
If we go behind in this one early on I think we are in for a loooooong afternoon
-
This has banana skin written all over it. Callum Davidsons stock in trade as a player and a manager has largely been to get crosses into the box and we are not dealing very well with those at the moment. If we score first we should be fine but I REALLY don't want to have to go through the hand wringing of trying to find an equaliser against what has already been shown to be a very solid defence. fingers crossed, 3-1 dons. Nisbet, Dabbagh and Jensen
-
I would add that's the second game in a row that Clarkson has come on and provided some necessary guile. Negatives. We really need to start dealing with crosses better but Mitov defo needs to be doing better with that first one, he went pure jazz hands. On his day he's a great goalie but he's dropped a few clangers this season. The general lack of penetration was incredibly frustrating but I will give utd credit where it's due, they were very hard to break down and out goals were about moments of quality rather than defensive failure. Positives. Attitude was excellent. It would have been easy for heads to go down as the second half progressed given the lack of opportunities but they kept plugging away and got their rewards. Nisbets first is underrated imo and I think Jensen deserves a mention for both assists, the second being a peach of a cross. Dorrington looked pretty tidy when he came on also, is there any update on Tobers yet btw? I do try to be patient with new signings and let them settle etc but I agree Okkels doesn't seem to be offering much. As I said prior I think Pape should be put back there as he was really effective wide left at the start of the season. Re Mackenzie, he's looking like a player that doesn't want to get injured just as he goes OOC
-
Well, this is a big one. Hopefully parkhead will be well out of the minds of ours whilst utd will still be stewing over their goal being disallowed. A win here would set us up so nicely for the run in to the split and all those games are very winnable. Expect Mitov to be back, would quite like to see Gueye back in the side but wide left. It is where he has played best for us and Okkels is very hit and miss at the moment. 3-1 dons, Nisbet, Keskinen and Dabbagh
-
I was scratching my head at half time how we were 3 down but I have no complaints with the result even if the scoreline flattered celtic a wee bit. Fingers crossed the confidence isn't too dented with Sunday on the horizon.
-
Lest we forget he's been pretty awful ever since he bottled his pen against der hun. A great player on his day and I'm sure he will score one or two against us but defo replaceable.
-
To be fair to Gueye I thought Killie were watching him very closely. It looked like they were very wary of giving him free space to run into with the ball. As others have said it was a typical Mcinnes sit in and frustrate so I'm not going to read too much into the lack of chances created. In the end it was one of those games where we deserved it because we managed to score. Twas a really tidy and opportunistic finish from Dabbagh as well and I agree that he looked very bright when he came on. Tuesday will be the first big test for Tobers and Knoester but we will save that chat for another thread. Agree they are looking like a good pairing and defo improving though. Thelin used his bench well today, obviously devlin coming off wasn't part of the plan but changing 3 players at once is not without it's risks. It paid off though as I thought we started to dominant after that. Morris looked lively as well when he came on, had a crazy good run at one point when he went past like 4 players from near the centre of the pitch to manage to get to byline to get a cross in.

That was my first thought, probably a championship side.
