  1. What, ever? Can anyone confirm or repute this? It was fucked up Manc. I was pleased to not notice any hassle at the germany poland game, that had powderkeg written all over it!
  2. Is that the first Aberdeen player to score at a finals since strachan in 86? Edit. Strachan wasn't even an don then.
  3. I don't think there was any kind of formal approach but I could be wrong ED. Thanks manc, I also called for signing Shinnie for the better part of two years and that worked out quite well too. Wasn't advocating a move for Draper, he's just not good enough imo, only included him as he is the cm at Inverness that fits what the mould. Irvine's contract can't be worth more than 100k at a push so 200kish would probably land him.
  4. Mcginniesta scores for ni. On yourself son
  5. Tansey is a reasonably talented playmaker not a midfield enforcer. Draper would fit the mould a bit better but he's not a very good passer. Said it before and I'll say it again, Jackson Irvine from county would be ideal and very possibly affordable. He's only got a year left on his deal after all.
  6. It's been quite a good tournament so far. Italy looked pretty handy I thought, could go far.
  7. My flutter today has been a treble of ht draw, ft Spain. Sweden and belgium v Italy to be a draw
  8. I did enjoy shouting Dasvidanya at the couple of england fans leaving the pub when Russia equalised.
  9. Even if we were in the market for another striker I would say he's more hassle than he's worth.
  10. Probably some decent coin to be made by their clubs with the new tv deals.
  11. Addition of the under 20's is an interesting move.

    Brexit Vote

I read the guardian minute by minute. Basically be scared of everything.

    Brexit Vote

Scariest thing about a brexit vote would be boris being a stick on to be PM. I can't stand Cameron and Osborne but he would be even worse. Voting remain and hoping the majority of Scotland does. Won't be overly pissed off if it is brexit despite that though as it significantly improves the case for independence which remains my no1 political goal.
  14. As I said earlier if we got one and a half mill I think we would have done as well as we can realistically hope for. I'm very confident if a 500k offer came in it would be treated with derision given how long he is under contact for. We don't need to sell but we could be forced to.
  15. I don't think you understand how transfers work. Base figure is always the value of the remainder of contract which is where the 500k figure is coming from. As i understand it there has been no official approach so how can milne tell them to fuck off? Given his age you would never get anything close to 3 mill for him, 2 would be a miracle. As I said above given his age and value of his contract 1.25 mill would be good business, 1.5 excellent business.
  16. could have been a decent signing but not going to cry myself to sleep if it doesn't happen. re hayes. 500k i would guess is the ball park of the remainder of his contract. We are in no need of selling now we are debt free so the minimum I would let him go for is £1.25 mill. £1.5 would be excellent business despite his key player status but that might be a little too much. If they come in with good money and are offering to at least treble his wage (I would guess he's on about 4-5k with us, 15 k is not hardly breaking the bank for a championship side) he's could be pretty pissed if we turn it down. I would be gutted to see him go, i wanted us to sign him the first time i saw him play, but if there is one player in our squad that deserves a lucrative move it's Hayes and I wouldn't resent him for taking it. There would be no reason for that money not to be re-invested in the squad either and we could maybe get greg stewart to replace him for half the amount. In short don't want to see him leave but for the right money I would be at peace with it. Lets face it, every club in scotland is a selling club.
  17. Not fussed about Sammon in the slightest.
  18. Can't believe Houston isn't being linked with the hibs job. That said my hibby mate looked aghast when I suggested it to him. He wants McLeish for some reason
  19. Wales must be struggling if church is going.
  20. Jim Jefferies (not the football manager)
  21. You should check out his interview manc,he kinda talks about that. She's that another season on loan would be good for him
  22. There was a big interview with shankland on the club website the other day. It didn't sound like he thought he was going anywhere which I found interesting. I like mallan though, would be a great bit of business to get him on board imo. I still think LS is with worth another chance though I would be happy to see him go back to helen on loan for another season.
  23. Gruff Rhys is the prominent talent of the super furry animals and Stan Lee is the guy behind all things marvel. Richard Gordon once said of Crampsey that he could talk knowledgeably about any subject you could care to think off
  24. Gruff Rhys Bill Hicks Bob Crampsey Stan Lee Richard Burton
  25. Yeah that was my first thought when I heard the rumour manc
