  1. I would also add that I think ict play the best football to watch in Scotland. Still scratching my head how we were 4/4 against then this season yet dropped points to fucking st Mirren
  2. I'm going, Inverness is my home and has been a long time. I'm happy to go make the numbers as it were. I know quite a few ict fans and would be chuffed for them if they do it and it would be great for the highlands also so it doesn't feel too much of a chore. One time deal though.

Sky My flatmates mum lets us use her sky go and I pay for the sports package with her son. First time I've ever had sky sports, it's pretty awesome but I wouldn't pay for the whole thing
  4. With Reynolds hardly setting the Heather alight as captain you could see him getting the job at some point

Put up the monthly price for sports in pubs by hundreds last month apparently
  6. nemzadze, he was a player too. I wonder if dundee fans look back on those days, remember the dark times that followed twice and still come to the conclusion 'meh, it was worth it!'. What was the score anyway?
  7. Was Caballero involved? Always thought he was a cracking player
  8. God no. He's on a two year deal, we're not broke anymore and unless he's got a 500k release fee in his deal we should treat any such offer with the derision it deserves.
  9. I would estimate the 500k figure is coming from that's likely what the remainder of his contract is worth
  10. 500k? Afc would indeed have a riot on their hands

I usually just watch the highlights these days, there are some races that still are exciting to watch with plenty of overtaking. There's talk of having standardised cars and engines, that could be interesting
  12. Two years left on his deal if memory serves? Should be collecting at least a couple of mill for him if he goes
  13. Bolton Wanderers, managed by former Celtic manager Neil Lennon, and Leeds United, whose manager, Uwe Rosler, had Niall McGinn at Brentford, are weighing up a summer move for the 27-year-old Aberdeen forward, who is likely to be tempted by any offer. (The Sun, print edition)
  14. Agreed tyrant, complacency in front of goal has been a big problem this season. That said I do have some sympathy with the original point, we can be a bit of a one trick pony attacking from the flanks. That we've Iacked true guile since jess left is still an accurate statement imo, I see eremenko is leaving killie, worth a look maybe.
  15. Said without the slightest hint of irony
  16. Interestingly Theo Snelders is leaving his goalkeeping coach role with FC Twente....... Edit. From further research it would appear Twente are in the shit financially and that is why he has been let go. I imagine Theo to be a very progressive coach, when the passback rule was introduced Snelders adapted to it better and more easily than any other keeper in the league if memory serves. Moment I heard this it instantly felt like the right move. Been coaching at a good level, knows and loves the club (I mind him speaking quite enthusiastically of wanting to see an Aberdeen win over Groningen), there's a symmetry in him taking over from Leighton just as he did in nets, available on a free and the club likely given a huge lift by legends return. By that I mean giving a club legend his jotters always leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Bringing Snelders in would be a great mouthwash IMO
  17. What I wouldn't give for a keeper barely worth tying those threes shoelaces now

Aye the gulf in standard between them is massive now. Pdc is clearly where it's all at but it has to be said the lakeside still looks a more enjoyable venue than the pdc events. I would actually prefer to watch at home than go to the cavern that is the o2

I've got right into darts the past year, both playing and watching. Premier league semi finals and final were amazing to watch tonight. Anderson stealing the semi against Chisnal had me cheering as much as an injury time winner for the dons. Are any donstalkers regular players and/or watchers of the game?
  20. Aye let's get the goalkeeper with no coaching experience, no coaching badges as well as limited goalkeeping ability try and bring on and improve the next generation. Just naw I think JL has been shifted as his goalkeeping style is a bit prehistoric now. Put it this way he was never one for coming off his line. Clangers will likely be gone by the end of the transfer window
  21. Hibs can, and I suspect probably will, bring this back, they were by no means inferior tonight.
  22. Extended highlights just started on alba
  23. Interestingly Taylor was put in the team of the year by both Tom English and Richard Wilson on wednesdays sportsound. I think he's improved and will continue to do so though the noises are that Culjak is going to be given game time, interesting to see where that leads re hebrews comments on CB. Jim Spence was saying yesterday he reckons we will make at least 3 signings this summer not including shinnie. Looking through the out of contract list the only player that stands out is Marley watkins, he could defo do a job for us.
  24. Any keeper we get needs to be one that comes of the line quickly to allow the back line to push forward a bit more. It would really help us press teams further up the park
  25. For Jack there are pro's and con's on both options. AFC are very much a club on the up. He is playing under a talented manager who see's him as the keystone to the team. Most of the squad are tied up on deals with one of the spfl team of the year players joining said squad in a months time. I also think he's canny enough to realise that another year at Aberdeen where he's playing every match would be no bad thing for his development. I'm not saying he's not ready to go, he's good enough no question, but, at 23, he can't afford to be sitting on a bench week in week out. He needs to go to a club where he will get plenty game time. Jack is one of the best cm's in the league but for the kind of clubs being discussed he needs to be the best cm in the league to have a decent chance at regular game time. Probably what's best for all parties (with say an everton size club if one were to bid) concerned would be to reach a good price for him then to get him back on loan for next season for no fee. Lets face it, there is no danger he is sticking around for anything longer than a year. This would ensure a fee, keep the player an extra season (hopefully at little cost), the player is happy his career is going in the right direction and the other club is happy that it's player is being given more development time in a positive environment with the prospect of getting a better player than they have paid for.
