  1. In but I'm on call so no market bar for me pre match. That said I just got a dog so can't spend too much time away from him at first. Away end Birds mum's for tea (her hun bro is going the home end he's a nice guy so I won't hold it against him) 2-0 dons Rooney and Hayes to really wind up the ict faithful
  2. Bebo from the hat on the ball here. Hilarious http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=39414&st=0
  3. You wound me sir. Coldplay indeed!
  4. You kinda have to admire the ballsiness of it
  5. You just know Shinnie is going to be out for months don't you
  6. 2 players injured already, fucks sake
  7. He's desperate to see the mighty dons rinse the orribles?
  8. Yeah and I wasn't very happy about Shinnie playing that game. Another thing with the league cup is that it's midweek games which can lead to more chance of accumulated fatigue injury. Ict on Saturday is going to be our fifth game in two weeks. I do get what you're saying BB, it's not that many games more, but we have already played 6 games more than most as it is and it all add's up.
  9. I'm just looking at the bigger picture. We don't have a massive squad and there are certain players we just can't afford to lose to long term injury if we want to be in the mix come may. I'm thinking the likes of Ward, Jack, McGinn, Rooney and Shinnie to name a few. We can stick out a competitive side without risking key players. If we make the final that's a different story but the reality the situation is with the size of squad we have I think we need to pick our battles.
  10. The jambos I spoke to on the way to haymarket were the same Hebrew.
  11. I can understand that but I just don't think we will get another shot at the title as good as this for a while. Not only that there is no doubt that McInnes as well as our key players will be on bigger clubs radars by now. I genuinely think the only chance we have of keeping this squad and management team together is to win the league and to have a CL qualifying carrot for next season. For me the most realistic chance of winning the league is to build up a big enough cushion over celtic whilst they have europa league to contend with. Come January they will be spending big as not winning the league and it's resulting no CL qualifying would be incredibly damaging for them, especially having not qualified the past few seasons.... we saw their recent 4 mill loss. We have a chance to win the league cup every season, the same cannot be said of the League so I have to respectfully disagree and say I don't give a rats ass about the League cup this season. The Scottish cup is a different story as we will have a far better idea of where the league challenge is by the time the 3rd round comes round.
  12. Phoenix Nights was brilliant but Dave Spikey was the real genius behind that. I don't mind Peter Kay, he's had his moments.
  13. So what do we reckon? Is Pig-gate going to take down Cameron? I think it could, regardless of how true the allegations are he's going to take a hoor of a ripping for this. So much so it actually could make his position untenable.
  14. Don't give a rat's ass about the league cup this year, we have bigger fish to fry. I would be quite happy to play the kids/back up players in this one. Eg Brown McLaughlin Rose Quinn Henry Flood Robson Wright Smith Orsi Parker That's a good blend of youth and experience that is more than capable of giving hibs a game.
  15. Fucks sake kow ;-)
  16. I didn't think the feel good factor from the Celtic game would be topped easily but tynecastle was amazing today. Can anyone stop this red and white juggernaut?
  17. Shankland off the mark for Helen. It was a nice finish too, real poachers goal
  18. Tough one but we can do it In. Lift down, then probably roseburn Away end Train back Score draw
  19. 1 up and don't really deserve to be, Hamilton have got right in our faces and we have found it hard to keep the ball as a result. Did have a decent ten minute spell but credit to Hamilton for not caving. That Ali Crawford is a cracking player, would love to sign him
  20. It really has banana skin written all over it doesn't it. Thankfully I have every confidence that DM and Doc will be keeping the players grounded enough to focus on the task in hand. In Driving up from a meeting in Stirling Main Driving back to Inverness 3-0 mcginn, Rooney, Smith
  21. http://thecelticblog.com/2015/09/blogs/celtic-gutless-at-every-level-as-aberdeen-win-with-ten-men Turning on Deila now
  22. Then shame on you Al Surely there's gonna be a bit of a clamour for him to be in the Poland squad next month now. Probably won't make hee haw difference but never mind. Less chance of getting injured as well. What a performance today Dons-talkers. Yeah we got lucky with Considine but the will to win just oozed through the team today, I'm sure some self righteous prick was going on about that earlier in the thread, and it took us across the line with some fervour. I've had a few Tims tell me today we were worth the win and how concerned they are with their back line at the moment. They are all, to a fucking man, still writing us off but that's hardly surprising. Now let's not fuck it up against Hamilton.
  23. Whilst I agree Quinn had a great game Shinnie was MOTM for me. I know I go on about him being better at LB but he was a titan in midfield today
  24. Blatantly obvious they can't defend crosses, it needs to be exploited
  25. Deserved sending off but the ict players reaction to it was pretty disgusting. Good win for Inverness and two defeats on the bounce takes the spring out hertz step quite nicely for next weekend.
