  1. Anyone else thinking we might be putting an offer to kenny mclean who's out of contract this summer? I think he would be an excellent addition and our central midfield could do with strength in depth.
  2. Is he a bit of a radge? In other news tommy craig takes over in paisley....... seems an odd choice to me
  3. Just think we need some more width al, Hayes is our only winger these days
  4. Ryan Stevenson worth a look?
  5. Once a hun......
  6. We are never winning the league with celtic in it. Their wage bill is about 7/8 times what ours is and have strength in depth we can only dream of. The prospect of us finishing above them is easily the most ridiculous idea in your post, that the Aberdeen support would likely be adverse to signing Boyd due to being a hun doesn't even compare on the ridiculousmeter. FYI if zola and vernon do leave I think he would be worth a look but I don't see the support in general not grumbling about it.
  7. you are still drunk. Trust me on this dude, there are just some players that regardless of talent are just to hunnish to ever be accepted by the aberdeen support and boyd falls into that category. Big time. Besides, if we are going to add to the attack i would be looking for players that are a bit different to what we already have. Boyd is in the same mould as rooney and vernon though that said i expect at least one of zola and vernon to be off this summer if not both.
  8. Are you still drunk?
  9. some of our defending has been utter mince today
  10. another poor attendance for the tims Also Scott brown is a cunt
  11. That second half was fucking murder.
  12. I was just about to post that. You couldn't make it up.
  13. Actually the more that I think about it the more it make sense. He knows the league He has won trophies (not recently but he has had financially tied hands for a while until very recently) He know's how to harvest talented youth and utd have a great youth setup He would be way less likely to lose top players due to high wage demands Van Persie would stay He has a very good european record He would not be fazed by Ferguson being in the stand As I said I highly doubt it will happen but you have to admit it's a very tantalising thought.
  14. Looking forward it will be interesting to see where they go now. Van gaal doesn't seem a good fit to me, klopp would be the outstanding choice but he's said he intends to honour his bvb contract. In short I think he fancies another go at PG's bayern, on a side note it's impressive he hasn't been disheartened enough by the loss of Gotze and Lewandoski to angle for a move to a richer club. I have a big soft spot for Dortmund, have done since Booth went there, so I hope he stays where he is. Simeone is obviously a bit interesting but how would he adapt to england both as a home and a League? I can't help but think he may end up at Barca, they will probably be changing manager soon. One mischievous thought did occur though............ Wenger has yet to sign a new deal at arsenal.......... I highly doubt it but stranger things have happened in football.
  15. Zola? Nah, no chance. He's nothing but a big lump and i would rather break down defences with guile than battering rams. I'd like to see cammy smith given a run, i think he's a cracking prospect.
  16. Anyone else starting to worry we are going to chuck away 2nd?
  17. Gutted. If rooney had taken his chance not long after mcginn scored it was game over. Such is life, St J are due a result against us it has to be said and you have to admire the comeback. I'm starting to think Anderson is waning a bit, the loss of pace is making his mistakes more noticeable this season and it may be time to move considine into the middle with reynolds.
  18. Dave King has urged Rangers fans not to buy season tickets and has accused the board of an "extreme act of bad faith". The former Ibrox director is upset the club have asked fans to renew their season tickets before the completion of a review of the business's operations. King will set up a bank account for fans to pay their renewal money into and act as custodian alongside former Rangers captain Richard Gough. And King has warned of the the potential "loss of the club". King's intervention signals an end to his attempts to work with the directors in a bid to address the club's financial problems. He met the board last month and agreed to grant them time to complete chief executive Graham Wallace's business review and draw up a plan to fund the club. The board pledged to release the details of Wallace's review, which he said at last December's annual general meeting would take 120 days, before fans are asked to renew their season tickets. The deadline for that period is 17 April. "The chairman [David Somers] has advised me that the board will now only issue the review at the end of the season ticket renewal period and it will consequently not be timeously made available to fans," King said. "Disturbingly, the chairman has advised me that the true intention of the board had always been to delay issuing the review until funds had been largely collected. "I apologise to all fans for wasting time by lending credibility to the board's false representations. I was wrong to give them the benefit of the doubt. At least we now can no longer have any uncertainty about governance at the club. "It is common cause that the club is not a going concern without access to the season ticket loan from the fans. It is also common cause that the season ticket money will only provide partial relief in advance of a more permanent recapitalisation. "I have hitherto urged restraint in dealing with the board, however due to this extreme act of bad faith I believe that it is vital that fans now withhold season ticket money from this board and similarly refuse to support the club by way of the purchase of replica kit or any other retail product." The board had to borrow £1.5m last February from two shareholders - George Letham and Sandy Easdale - to meet costs and that money will be paid back from the first tranche of season ticket income. Wallace has pledged to cut costs, but season ticket income is critical. In the interim results published last month, going concern status was only granted on the basis of an increase in season ticket prices and a rise in sales. As a consequence of that note in the accounts, the board need to ring-fence any season ticket income that arrives, until they are certain that the business is a going concern for the next 12 months. The Union of Fans - a coalition of supporters groups - has pledged to set up a season ticket trust fund, for fans to pay their money into. The intention was to then provide the money to the club in return for security over the property assets, which the directors have insisted they will not borrow against. The account that is to be set up, with King, Gough and other individuals voted for by fans as custodians, will essentially provide the basis for the trust fund. "As a minimum, the board must provide the club property as security against the season ticket money," added King. "I recognise that fans will have anxiety about 'betraying' the club and the risk of loss of a cherished seat at Ibrox. However, the time has come when the trade-off is a potential loss of a seat against the loss of the club. That would be the real betrayal. This board has lost its right to be dealt with on a good faith basis."

  20. Fat sally taking a pounding from the hordes of mordor, 93% want him gone. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=267465 Speaking to a hun I work with this morning, he's convinced utd are going to rinse them at the weekend.
