  1. yeah i saw that earlier, really interesting move. Clangers must be delighted as this will def boost ticket sales for his testimonial
  2. Hibs seem pretty resolute, can't see it happening.
  3. This is a really interesting read about Swansea's training. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/jul/21/swansea-city-garry-monk-pre-season-fitness Would be nice to see our new facilities being designed in a manner that supports the use of such technologies.
  4. I really cant see the ROW association's voting for a European candidate, especially when European Candidate has been head of UEFA.
  5. Cometh the hour cometh the man nellie
  6. Without any shadow of a doubt my favourite Aberdeen player ever
  7. The distance isn't ideal obviously but that aside I don't see this as a bad draw.
  8. What A Fucking Result
  9. Pp has no excuse for being off there. Only caught the last twenty five minutes of the half but thought we looked really good. Want expecting that after reading the minute by minute on route to the pub
  10. As I've said before flood is the weak link in the side now imo
  11. As I've said before flood is the weak link in the side now imo.
  12. Not entirely convinced by McKay but if he was available for reasonable terms then we could do way worse.
  13. Time will tell, can't see anyone going or coming in before Thursday though
  14. Helen fan on p+b saying they are looking to take shankland on loan. Could be an interesting move for him
  15. McInnes went to T after the game on sunday http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/dons-boss-parties-with-fans-at-t-in-the-park/
  16. Did goodwillie play well jute?
  17. O'Neill might be going back to Leicester leaving keane to see out qualifying. That's ireland out of the picture if so IMO
  18. Interesting game. I thought Maclean played really well and I was surprised when he went off but he is just back from injury I suppose. Will take the result but we made it much harder for ourselves than we had to. We didn't manage the final minutes very well, I don't understand playing DG and AR as a strike pair when we just needed to see the game out. Overall we did just enough, PP was unlucky and the likes of Jack, Considine, Maclean and McGinn you couldn't really fault. everyone else had their moments but could do better. Did anyone else think robson's challenge at the end looked 2 footed?
  19. Missed the first 15. The next 15 we looked a bit shaky but we picked up after, last ten we really started to dominate. Think we will score a couple as they start to tire.
  20. Worth getting?
  21. I think another CM is needed, I like Flood for his attitude but to consistently challenge for honours you really need a bit more than that. I now see him as the weakest link in the side and, even worse, he has no direct competition for his position. On doing a little research on Ness he could be a good shout. He played last season for crewe on loan from Stoke and did pretty well apparently, they want him back according to an article in crewes local rag from last week. He's 6ft 1 so has a bit of presence about him and despite the fact we have our best team in decades the cm is a little lightweight. I had hoped we would go for McGinn from helen to add a bit of steel to the centre of the park but this ness is 24 and has more experience at a higher level. Ness was one of the deserters for free when the huns went to the wall (another bonus, the huns will hate him for walking out on them.... the seethe from the ranks of Mordor if he came and did well for us would be almost intoxicating) Stoke may be prepared to terminate his contract for little to nothing. He's never going to get a game for them and it will free up the wage so they would likely be easy to deal with. It could be a very shrewd piece of business IMO I was never overly keen on the idea of taking in May on loan, not for his ability but for the developing another teams player in an area we have decent options and a young prospect aspect of it. Taking him on a perm would be a very different story, no question he would be a superb addition giving us real strength in depth up front. This comes off it will be the best transfer window in my memory by a distance
  22. I really don't see what the fuss is about with ciftci
  23. Johnathan Wilson was bigging him up before the game so i was looking to see what he meant http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/jul/04/chile-argentina-lionel-messi-copa-america I hope it does work out for him internationally as it could be glorious to behold. 2018 has to be in his mind as his last real chance to perform at his best at a WC, 2022 is just too long away and he will surely have waned by that point. The front line the Argies have is stunning yet it just never seems to quite work, they should have been beating Chile by a couple at least
  24. Durrant and Fat Sally have been there also, very tainted brand. That said most Killie fans I have met (about 5) have been pretty sound
  25. Anyone watch the copa america final? Sanchez panenka's the winning penalty in the shootout, cool.
