Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act

Hibs can, and I suspect probably will, bring this back, they were by no means inferior tonight. -
Extended highlights just started on alba

Interestingly Taylor was put in the team of the year by both Tom English and Richard Wilson on wednesdays sportsound. I think he's improved and will continue to do so though the noises are that Culjak is going to be given game time, interesting to see where that leads re hebrews comments on CB. Jim Spence was saying yesterday he reckons we will make at least 3 signings this summer not including shinnie. Looking through the out of contract list the only player that stands out is Marley watkins, he could defo do a job for us.

Any keeper we get needs to be one that comes of the line quickly to allow the back line to push forward a bit more. It would really help us press teams further up the park

For Jack there are pro's and con's on both options. AFC are very much a club on the up. He is playing under a talented manager who see's him as the keystone to the team. Most of the squad are tied up on deals with one of the spfl team of the year players joining said squad in a months time. I also think he's canny enough to realise that another year at Aberdeen where he's playing every match would be no bad thing for his development. I'm not saying he's not ready to go, he's good enough no question, but, at 23, he can't afford to be sitting on a bench week in week out. He needs to go to a club where he will get plenty game time. Jack is one of the best cm's in the league but for the kind of clubs being discussed he needs to be the best cm in the league to have a decent chance at regular game time. Probably what's best for all parties (with say an everton size club if one were to bid) concerned would be to reach a good price for him then to get him back on loan for next season for no fee. Lets face it, there is no danger he is sticking around for anything longer than a year. This would ensure a fee, keep the player an extra season (hopefully at little cost), the player is happy his career is going in the right direction and the other club is happy that it's player is being given more development time in a positive environment with the prospect of getting a better player than they have paid for.

Did anyone listen to sportsound on wednesday night? You can donwload it as a podcast if you missed it. Doncaster was on with Wilson and English who gave him a bit of an inquisition, very interesting listen and Doncaster holds his own at times.

Surprised a bit about gibbons who has impressed me every time I have seen him (3-4 times) and I thought he was worth keeping on another year. Joesho was always likely to move on, I think he will have a reasonable career at a kilmarnock or st Johnstone type club and all the best him and to them all. Macmanus has done the right thing, never going to get in ahead of rooney, DG or Shankland anytime soon no matter how many he scored for morton so it makes sense for him to leave. Robson has played pretty well the past month or so and imo he still has a role to play. At no point in his career has his game ever been about pace and he should be treated as a sort of ginger sauzee. I would also add that i have noticed Jacks game improve after a bit of a dip since robson returned to the SLU. The experience he has is priceless in what is a squad with quite a low average age now and well worth another year.

Juve barca final, most likely a rout but it's not out of the question for juve to make a game of it

First thing that came to mind when I heard about this was " jotters for goodwillie then". It's a shame it's not really worked out for him because he is clearly a talented lad, he has the best first touch in the league for me

Hayes has really improved. Not so much in wing trickery but in his final ball, his delivery's are far more dangerous this season.

It was accountancy if memory serves

He's not really played many games in the same position so not so easy to judge him too harshly. Eg he started wide right yesterday. Personally I think his best position is CM and would really like to see him given a run of games alongside jack, they could have a good partnership, but i'm not too optimistic about my chances of seeing it for multiple reasons. He's not set the heather alight it's true but he's not been useless by any stretch of the imagination either so I think there's plenty of potential there. I'm going to hold of judgement until at least xmas, a pre season and a transfer window will refine the squad a bit by then.

Oh captain my captain

I was really impressed by johansen the first halffof the season but he's not set the heather sight the past while.
-
As long as he doesn't go to fucking Celtic

County supporting mate asked me about this yesterday. Should we be giving the tims one on Sunday? The thought makes me sick to my back teeth but it can be argued that it would show a touch of class

Cracking choke from the Huns today

We all know you still would Hebrew, you're fooling no one ;-)

Indeed Don't see the fuss about cifcti tbh, not totally untalented but his attitude is a joke

Resigned myself a while ago that jack was likely away in the summer, best we will get is a year extension with a release clause ala Kenny MacLean.

I can understand why you think it but I'm not convinced. If/when there is another ref it will need to be well considered, quite simply if it was held and the result came back the same as 2014 you just can't see the SNP going for another one for a very long time. They would never get away with it..... they would have truly failed and what purpose would they serve then? If/when there is another referendum it's all or nothing and the SNP will be well aware of that. The SNP have risen spectacularly but to use the old football idiom 'getting to the top is one thing, staying there is something else'. It's clear they are going to get a lot of seats and have some actual influence in Westminster, how much remains to be seen, but if they are going to consolidate that (stretch out a big lead at the top to continue the football analogy) what they really need to do then is maintain a majority in the Scottish parliament not call for another referendum. It's a trickier prospect too because of the PR election system and they may not manage a majority though there is no danger Labour will get enough to have a minority gvmt. The next few years in Scottish and UK politics is going to be fascinating to watch.

I hadn't heard about his early onset of Parkinsons but I remember him collapsing in the dugout, very sad to hear. Always had time for Sturrock

Ict were clearly the better team the first half, they then scored early in the second half. Then we started to play a bit, Smith's introduction was the game changer for me he caused they Inverness defence loads of problems. That said if ict could defend set pieces they might have got something from the game. That's 4 goals in 2 games they have conceded from set plays

Ict edged the first half to say the least
