I agree with most of that but, and don't get me wrong cos I understand why you're saying it, I'm not convinced that it's poor squad building just yet. Let's see who goes out first before making that call because I've got a feeling we will be left with Dorrington, Milne, Tobers, Knoester and Molloy come the end of the window. Given the minimum number of fixtures we have to play this season 5 centre backs is probably about right. Two lefties, two righties and one that can play either left or right side. One thing for certain though we are defo needing to move some players on.

On the flip side because we have got him so young, and if we keep him long enough, he would be able to be registered as trained at club once he turns 22. Yeah fair point re Gueye and Morris. It's not so much that he was in the squad for Turrif that makes me think he might be away (though it defo doesn't help 2bf). It's the euro registration dilemma which I've been thinking about a lot, especially since the additions of Kjartansson and Aouchiche. If you recall my post from last week about how we couldn't register one off: "Suman, Nilsen, Polvara, Gueye, Palaversa, Yengi, Clarkson, Sokler, Morris, Rubezic, Topi, Milanovic, Molloy, Mitov, Gyamfi, Jensen, Knoester or Tobers." well add in the two new boys and that's 3 we can't register. When you look through that list of players the ones most likely to get the axe would seem to be Ruby, Sokler and sadly Polavara. Everyone else has either been signed by Thelin or contributed heavily for him last season and given that would anyone be surprised if the management were wondering if Polvaras wage could be better employed? I wouldn't, as fine a player as he is he hasn't played a great deal and doesn't seem a natural fit for any of the midfield positions we operate. All that said though it could be that KK doesn't get registered given there is a bit of a one for the future vibe about him and it's unlikely to affect his morale given his age and status. Also, on that note, I suppose all 3 players mentioned could be just as easily kept but just not registered for Europe. It's a bit of a slap in the face for them though if that's how it plays out.......

I guess it depends on what clubs need and what we have to offer. I wouldn't rule out inverness being a contender for league one. Arbroath could be a good option for the championship, anyone we send there is likely to get a lot of game time and given they are part time and it's not too far away it would be easy for players to still train at cormack park also.
