  1. he just keeps on going up in my estimation, its been a long time since i have been so nervous about a player not signing a new deal
  2. Charlie brown
  3. iplayer dude
  4. Speaking to a copper in work last night who said there was no hassle at all in inverness before or after the game, not many derby matches you can say that about
  5. Brown was brought in to clean up the mess mcghee made and after what can only be described as a grueling year the fruits of his labour are starting to show. We are all very happy about this and rightly so. That said there is little room for sentiment in football and i don't think it's unreasonable to be considering the options for the succession of a 72yo manager.
  6. Got a good feeling about this game, long overdue a result there. wish i could go to be honest.
  7. Agreed, best prospect since Jess by a distance
  8. I find it best not to have expectations on this site cts
  9. fair enough
  10. Ok I thought I would start a new thread for miscellaneous arty type stuff as i didn't know where to put this. Its national poetry day, not a huge poem fan but I do have a favourite that was penned by a pal of mine back in the late 90's that any Aberdeen fan should appreciate Ode to Baldur, man I bet That Jim Bett Never met with the idea of failure In those crazy 80's, what must he think? Baldur the last link In a time when it worth getting out of bed on a Saturday Still Eoin is worth his weight And Derek isn't as bad as my mate Gary Who lacks legs But that's life
  11. Pleased with a home tie, St Mirren is no easy game though...... not that there was one in the draw to be fair
  12. mcginn and smith as well
  13. always looked technically pretty decent but falls over more than lee miller ever did and that really is saying something
  14. if you say so, what does the other guy think?
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia ?
  16. of course not I just can't see them kissing and making up unless Fletcher was given assurances that he would be 1st pick up front
  17. Fletchers recall aside that's a pretty strong squad it has to be said.
  18. I don't think Fletcher would have agreed to be included if that was in any way a possibility
  19. Its about as close to trash TV as i get but in recent times i have been watching a show called supernatural. Its absolute nonsense but highly entertaining and doesn't take itself too seriously which i respect a lot.
  20. I don't think desperate is an inappropriate description, Levein is on a sticky wicket and he knows it. Fletcher has been banging them in the english top flight for diddy teams (comparatively speaking) for the past two seasons and now is doing even better for team that is not tipped for relegation, his reputation is only being enhanced and he has nothing to prove to anyone. As such its highly unlikely that this recall was initiated by Fletcher, If he want's to keep his job he needs points on the board and getting Fletcher back in the squad will have involved Levein eating a big ol slice of humble pie which implies desperation on his part.
  21. reynolds every time, Considine and Anderson as a pairing are greater than the sum of their parts imo
  22. Backs up what i have been thinking all season, Ando and Considine are the best cb pairing in the league. We have the same conceded goals as the tims but with the handicap of Jamie langfield
  23. the drop in attendances was unsustainable for a club with the wage bill the size of blackburn. Talking of giving the job to shearer which i have no issue with if it keeps him and his appalling punditry off the beeb
