  1. And dnipro away was about as good as a keeper can play. I really cant understand your beef with langfield, in my eyes he's a serious contender for afc player of the season. So what he had a bust up with calderwood when steaming, if i had a boss that talked as much pish as JC does i would avoid him like the plague if i was drinking otherwise he would be getting a piece of my mind. Really wasnt very much to forgive there if you ask me.
  2. I totally agree that we are more than capable of going there and winning and if there was ever a point in the season where the players need to take a wee look in the mirror and have a word with themselves its thursday. The only thing i would disagree with is that utd are over rated, i think they are a good team with a very good manager.
  3. There is no danger that man utd are going there to sit in. ferguson is expecting arsenal to try and go toe to toe with them as opposed to hitting utd on the counter as they tried at old trafford but this is not the arsenal side of five years ago that was accomplished at dominating games from midfield. Fabregas is great player but he is not of the same stature as viera who was the key to so many of arsenals wins back then and i've yet to be convinced by denilson alongside him. Utd have so many more options in every department that i just cant see past them tonight
  4. Big game tonight and wenger is all talk beforehand. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8032700.stm As much as i dislike the man i admire his confidence. This, however, will not stop the extra gut laughing his comments will cause in me if they do lose. All in i fancy utd to win 2-1
  5. I had a wee look at the stats before i posted that ajj and i can see where you are coming from. That said even though they have only got two wins in the past five the attitude of the players has been very much never say die and i think this is going to be evident in the game on thursday
  6. In/Out - not sure Prediction - 2-0 utd Pre match - home During Match - listen to radio Post Match - either cry myself to sleep at how pathetic we are or driving round to jutie bastard mates flat to mock incessantly There is a really nice balance to that side. I'd give pawlett a start too, the boy looks rapid and as mentioned in a previous thread got stuck in. I'll be stunned if calderwood actually does it though
  7. Bloody hell i bet that shell scratched on the way back out
  8. I completely agree with what both you and manc have been saying. There is a massive lack of spirit in the side, it was evident before the dunfermline replay but after that its been even more noticeable. Add the fact that players that clearly give a shit like mackie and diamond have been out and that severin is about as inspirational as frozen yoghurt then you can see why we are having problems. Ultimately the buck stops with calderwood, its clear to me he is unable to sufficiently motivate the players which is bloody rediculous given that most of them played in europe last season.
  9. See thats the thing ajja i dont think they are that shaky, not compared to aberdeen at the moment anyway.
  10. He often reminds me of a petulant child in a sweet shop who has just been told that he cant have anything cos he's to fat
  11. I'd LIKE to as well but i dont think we will, we have won only 2 league games since we beat the tims 4-2. Utd winning today in my eyes effectively ends any chance of getting into europe therefore the season is over.
  12. Indeed, dont think anyone could blame you for being shell shocked. Ok Ok TAXI!!
  13. I know the feeling. These last four games are going to be torturous, the only slim hope that we have is getting 3 points at tannadump. Cant see it
  14. The reason i say that JJ is that considines track record of recovering from mistakes is not good. I would have pre empted it by taking him of
  15. I agree with bobby that there is a good CB in there somewhere but i've been very wary of considine since the utd game where he gifted them the winner in the last minute at tannadice. His problem to me seems to be focus. That said for the first goal i did think he was right to go for it, if he had let it go and it had gone in we would have given him pelters as well. Obviously his execution was terrible. After that he was always going to be on a downward spiral and probably should have been subbed at half time.
  16. ? Not being wide just curious as to why?
  17. Ouch!!!! Do not envy you those experiences

    Summer

Boy i worked with once told me of the time he did that and the girl just looked round, not missing a beat, and said "want some lube?" I'm assured he had a good night that night

Have you seen the south park where cartman pretends he has tourettes? You really should
  20. In/Out/Shake it all about - out Prediction - 0-3 tims Pre match - bed During Match - work Post Match - work
  21. Was working and missed the game. just watched the highlights and looked like utd didnt give them a sniff. You would expect arsenal to have a little more backbone but its instantly apparent that they missed arshavin a great deal last night. Not that im complaining, i cant see arsenal being strong enough to score and not concede at the emirates. Barca are still favourites for the other leg as chelsea did hee haw on tuesday, touch wood we might actually get a final with two teams who like to attack rather than counter attack.
  22. i say no. We are playing pish and have been for the past 3 months
  23. He's certainly not going to leave the epl for the bundesliga, could see him going to spain if one of the big boys came in for him
  24. Tin hat on. Snelders Wright Anderson Irvine Mcnaughton Grant Connor Jess Richardson Stavrum Shearer subs leighton Mcleish booth zerouali Aluko Some of these might seem a little contraversial, please note they are not all purely based on ability. Also i've not put in anyone that i havn't actually see play in the flesh
  25. I think the only thing that would worry me about seve leaving is that it would leave us with only 3 senior players that can play centre half. Mair diamond and considine. Mair is not mr consistent nor likely to be available for 1/4 to 1/2 a season going by his injury record at both pittodrie and tannadice. Not that its in any way likely but this would be a cracking time to get anderson back
