  1. Tell you what, the pre match presser today is going to awkward as fuck.
  2. According to the daily hun the meeting ended near two hours ago
  3. To each their own. I know in my soul I'm doomed to watch them all.
  4. Hard to argue with any of that.
  5. Bielsa would be fascinating
  6. Seeing a lot of 1-2 year spells at clubs as a manager. It doesn't inspire confidence.
  7. If I wanted team talks so basic that they could be given via ouija boards wouldn't it just be easier to get mcghee back?
  8. This. Amazed the concept needed to be explained 2bh.
  9. At this stage I would be at peace with Robson as an interim.
  10. We seem to be wasting money hand over fist with recruitment too. We have more right wingers than the tory party and barely 2 centre half's
  11. He didn't hang around last time though I suppose glass was far more on the brink going into the Motherwell game. The club will have been caught on the hop and not expecting to be under such pressure to sack the manager so quickly. The bookies list of candidates is incredibly depressing but it's a shit time to be hiring. In fact there's probably no solution to this that isn't shit.
  12. That's what she said...
  13. Goodwin has lost 7 of the last 9, tied in with recent form and the Darvel game I don't see how colgate doesn't terminate his contract. He wouldn't even look trigger happy after last night, it's a justified move. But. Glass had been fired by this point following losing to Motherwell. Could it be Cormack is going to stick by his man this time?
  14. I'm amazed we haven't had a statement from the club yet. Even with the best will in the world Goodwins position is now untenable and he has to go.
  15. Oh not a chance, it was way worse under Alex Miller
  16. Well enough that hibs fans still think of him fondly though, I concede, the airplane celebration may play a part in that.
  17. The only one on the list that has actually impressed me in recent times (lennon did well with hibs 2bf) with his managerial ability is Martindale. Not advocating him by any stretch but he has done brilliant things at livi. So hard to beat and he has them playing decent football too. If it wasn't for his drug dealing past he would have moved on to bigger and better things by now for sure.
  18. If he was getting binned it would have happened by now.
  19. And he's a cunt. No thanks
  20. Just looking to get a feel for how how we are all feeling about whether we should keep the manager. For me, yes and for the following reasons. 1. It's too soon for me, especially since we pulled the trigger pretty early on glass. Constantly changing your manager reduces the standard of applicant. Also you just need to look at arsenal to see the potential benefits of patience. 2. I know last night was awful (well, first half was awful at the back but I thought we were good going forward. I watched it with a jambo and when it went 3-0 he was a confused as I was as to how were even losing let alone by 3) but on Sunday we were the exact opposite. We really looked a proper team with an identity and a heartbeat for the first time in a long time.
  21. Nah, hearts aren't bang average. They have become a pretty well rounded team now and this is going to be a really fucking tough game. I agree we should be looking to press them though, sitting in isn't an option given our defensive woes and if we are to get anything we have to be dominant in midfield. That isn't out with the realms of possibility with rama and Shinnie in our ranks. If they both have a good game we have a great chance to get something out of this. I wouldn't be playing Kennedy at rb though. He's been so good lately and we need him further forward. 2bh I think it will be Richardson at rb...... Goodwin was very vague re injuries in his presser (and who can blame him) but he did suggest Lewis might be playing. I think it will be Lewis Richardson, Mcrorie, scales/McKenzie, coulson Ramadani, shinnie Kennedy, barron/Clarkson, hayes Miovski In all honesty I would snap your hand of for a point right now but I do think the team above is capable of a win. Despite the disappointment of the result on Sunday it was hard not to feel good about the team. We really looked like a team for a start and even after the sending off no quarter was asked nor given. Shinnie is key to this i believe. I don't care who is wearing the armband he's the biggest leader we have on the pitch and players know it. Regardless of the result tonight I think we are going to have a pretty good second half to the season. We really just need a defender (though I wouldn't be pissed off with 2) and a striker in to my eye.
  22. https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/woogdate-hayden-coulson-middlesbrough-future-26000863 Interesting read on Coulson. My feeling is he will sign a new deal with them if they don't get promoted, if they do he/boro will probably part ways. Even in this scenario I don't see him being with us next season. Most likely he will go to the Championship but I wouldn't be that surprised if the huns or the tims went for him cos they are both lacking at LB and they must have noticed him by now.
  23. It seems to me that it has got a lot worse post the break with stuff being ignored to the benefit of those two.
  24. Sore ones but there's ways to lose a game, can't fault the attitude after the red 2bf.
  25. Jesus wept, Stewart had had a decent game up to that too. That would have been a straight red twenty years ago ffs
