  1. I'll be picking up coverage on kodi mate.
  2. Can't see Goodwin straying from the back 3 without very good reason. We actually look reasonably solid again as a result of it. 4 games on the bounce without a goal for Miovski is it? I would agree, cr99 should be given a start otherwise what is the point in competition for places. He was impressive again when he came on, he did so well to get that volley on target from outside the box especially given his body position and hi as attitude to being dropped has been 1st class. One thing is for sure we are well due a result against this mob but it will be a very difficult game. 3-1 dons Lopes, cr99 and Miovski to give JG a massive headache for the next game.
  3. Might stick that on actually
  4. I think we all thought Miovski was probably going to be the best bit of business we had done in the summer but Lopes is defo giving me cause to reconsider that at the moment. I'm not saying that because BM is going through a dry patch either, Duk seems to have it all. Good on both feet, strong on the ball, very unpredictable, knows where the net is and a good burst of pace about him too. His attitude seems first class too, I was very impressed at how quickly he got in shape when he first arrived. He dropped half a stone easy in a fortnight. Suppose this is as good a time as any to give a first report card on the summer business. Coulson - big thumbs up Richardson - i don't think he's as bad as some make out but he's defo been shaky and pleased to see him taken out of the firing line. Another player I thought looked better with the back 3. Morris - did better against thistle but that wasn't difficult given how poor he's been and still not seeing why he's getting in ahead of Duncan. Besuijen - not technically a summer signing but worth including here I think. Defo had his moments and capable of something out of nothing but he needs to improve his consistency. Pass marks for sure though. Roos - seems solid enough, certainly not looking out of place Miovski - big thumbs up Clarkson - so far so good, not much yiu could fault about him all things considered. Stewart - good penalty box defender, only thing I've not liked about him is some of his distribution decision making. Scales - thumbs up, would be big if he wasn't on loan. Rama - big thumbs up, especially now he's playing as a 1 in front of defence. It really suits his game. Roberts - we likely won't be able to judge until after the WC
  5. Actually Rico I thought this was Morris's first decent performance. For the first time he looked like he was playing for the team, his defensive discipline was excellent tonight and I felt contributed reasonably well. Also, he was unlucky when he was hauled back when about charge onto the ball on a promising counter that he had started. Not a chance in hell he should be starting ahead of Duncan though, what a prospect he is. Like, scary to think how good he could be prospect.
  6. Goodwin confirms its a 3, Kennedy at rwb and vinnie in the middle.
  7. I think it will be too.
  8. I actually didn't think Richardson did so bad on Saturday, playing a bit further forward suits him perhaps. I'd love it if was a 442 2bh
  9. Hard to say exactly how they will line up. Could be a 4 or 3 at the back. Rama could be playing in front of the defence solo or as a two with clarkson. Find out soon enough, glad Coulson is back.
  10. Papped out by Killie in the cup. The potential for facing Mcinnes at hampden is on the cards.
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63304845 Binned by Omonia Nicosia after 7 months.
  12. I can understand the desire to stick with the 3 but I don't have a problem with rotating formations to suit the opponent. I believe Partick are fond of 1 up top so you can argue its the waste of a player in an extra CB. That depends on the CB's though and I think we are quite well placed to play a 3 against 1 up. Mcrorie and scales are both good on the ball and can pass and cross well so when playing against one up you can allow one of the CB's to break forward like Tierney does for Scotland to great effect. I know these two aren't of the same calibre as Tierney but a cb breaking forward usually causes havoc as teams struggle to pick them up.
  13. Yeah I think if he was signing on he probably would have by now. He's contracted till 2024 so we will get something for him at least.
  14. Just came to post this, 3-2 Napoli now.
  15. And you too Al
  16. He could have sat in the dugout tomorrow without fear regardless of the appeal. Sunday would have been a different story though
  17. I've been watching a fair bit of serie a this season, Napoli are a hell of a team now. Kvaradona is taking all the headlines but victor osimhen is starting to get up to speed again after injury and he is such a fun player to watch. Napoli will hose the huns

    VAR

October 21st sees it's introduction in the Scottish top flight. It's gonna be interesting to see just how the sfa/spfl completely fuck this up
  19. Goodwins presser on Thursday will be an interesting watch. Hopefully the club will have received the docket with the sfa's justification for their penalty by then. Even if not though this will be the first we are hearing from him since Saturday and he's going to have some big questions to answer. Fancy us to win though, we seem much better at home and whilst la viola are not really firing on all cylinders you would think hertz will be coming back from Florence a bit dejected. 3-1 Miovski, Barron and richardson
  20. Utd 1 up against Hibs. What happened to not being allowed to play matches on a CL night?
  21. That is probably about as tricky a draw as we could have got.
  22. That was mcghee era bad. I have nothing further to add
  23. Utterly hopeless, utd have had to do so little to score against us
  24. I just hope the formation hasn't changed. Rama really suited playing that solo DM role
  25. Goodwins intent was most likely to deflect away from a shite performance, once Duk scored we did little else in the game. He said we were comfortable up until the sending off, were we fuck. Whilst not pummelling our goal hibs had far more of the ball in our half than we did of theirs and I distinctly remember thinking let's just get to half time without conceding at about 40 odd minutes. It's massively back fired on him but I do have sympathy with the school of thought that the length of the ban is to do with JG admitting he had spoken to the ref about porteus pre match. It got me thinking as well. I don't think I've ever heard a manager admit to doing that before a game (I'm sure it does happen) in a post matcher before. Has anyone else? Regardless, and whilst hindsight is always 20/20 tbf, it's hard to comprehend why he thought dropping that titbit into a post match interview was a good idea. I doubt we will get much at appeal 2bh, maybe a slight reduction in games non suspended if we're lucky but that will be about it. Dugout bans are not what they once were though, I'm sure the dressing room has facility to take a video call.
