From what I heard from a tim pal who's being watching their friendlies their back line is looking a bit off colour. Just said they were passing it around too much and looking a bit static under pressure. Our defence might be suspect but our attack is looking pretty healthy and if we can score first... Game on. A lot of our players are going to be pretty unknown to celtic as well.

The only way Mcrorie plays in midfield is if we sign another cb before Sunday or hancock moves into the middle and coulsen goes to lb. Potentially that's not the worst solution, keeps 3 of the back 4 the same even if there is a position swap and keeps the midfield intact.

I tell you what, looking around social media this boy is getting a lot of love and not only from notts County fans. Seen quite a few Newcastle fans saying they thought he was class and were gutted he was released. The general consensus is he is a very skilled winger and will likely put a few fullbacks on their arses this season. He's fond of top bins from outside the box too apparently. One comment that did make me chuckle was "he could nutmeg a mermaid". Obviously it's just internet babble until he does it on the pitch in red but potentially this could be our most exciting player this season.

Another solid enough performance against weak opposition. Ramadani looks a good bit of business all round but what I liked most about his debut was the instant understanding with Mcrorie. They really didn't look like a cm pairing that was playing together for the first time regardless of level of opposition. I wonder if JG is planning on playing barron ahead of then as a 10 . Yet again no game time for mclennan. Wonder if he will be leaving soon as well.
