  1. Have a great time Hebrew. Re standard comments, football is football. If I cared about standard I wouldn't watch, let alone love, Scottish football.....
  2. I bet the cunt still scores against us
  3. Probably just wants to go back to living in England, wouldn't have been pissed off if he signed but hardly gutted he's not. Honest, hardworking, pro, good luck to him
  4. At the moment the signing I am waiting for most is the autograph gms gives next. Would love it if we kept him. Still annoyed we didn't try and get Scott Allan.
  5. Agreed TC, it always boggles my mind how little football fans understand how transfers actually work. Only time a player will go for less than the value of the remainder of the contract is if the club is wanting them off the books.
  6. Some ping!
  7. Clarke will likely have clocked that Devlin and mckenna looked excellent together at the start of the season and has called him up more to see how he fits in with the squad etc. Clarke himself said is was a big squad that he expects to thin by a few closer to the time. Regardless though I think it's very encouraging to see the national manager picking players on form regardless of their club Jersey and long may it continue. I know a lot of you out there ain't so keen on following Scotland, and that's fair enough support whoever you want, but I support Scotland as much as I do the dons and I'm really excited by Clarke getting the job. Truth be told I've never been so happy about a Scotland appointment before. Fingers crossed there could be some good times ahead, we really need Griffiths back though.
  8. As I said on sm, don't see why given how many don't even follow Scotland.
  9. Devlin gets a call up to Clarkes first squad. Didn't see that coming
  10. Refs have loved utd these playoffs. 1 red and two pens that were never fouls.
  11. Kyle maggenis worth a look perhaps.
  12. Taylor says to me McKenna is defo off and maine suggests to me that cossy might be off too.
  13. Nah, moyes is in the managers that football has left behind bracket imo
  14. you could argue that Cosgrove hasn't had the best supply. we have really missed christie and maclean this season, no-one in the middle is able to take the ball with opposition nearby and still move it forward which has led to our build up play being pretty sluggish due to having to rely on always going wide. I would defo keep him.
  15. I think people forget that Mcinnes, whatever you think of him, has genuine love for our club. Can't see him going anywhere for a while yet.
  16. Aye, what TC said.
  17. If it was scottish cup final taylor i could live with him coming back but it wont be so its a no from me. Jamie ness is a pretty solid centre mid as I recall though don't know what he has done recently.
  18. Heard the rumour that celtic were going to bin him on twitter last week. Took it with a pinch of salt 2bh. I'll always have affection for Griffiths those free kicks, Scotland have missed him big time.
  19. Didn't see that coming. Much needed shot in the arm
  20. Obviously a celtic legend but he did a lot of the squad building that fergie relied on so this deserves a place here. Very sad to hear this news, McNeil seemed a really decent human and I loved listening to him talk about the game. RIP Billy.
  21. I would give the captaincy to Considine.
  22. I actually quite enjoyed the first half but the second was brutal. Tell you what though, the guys on killie TV were pretty objective with their commentary. I say this because I find it laughable Clarke questions the first red when his own club's TV channel is saying it was the correct decision. Broadfoot is such a shithouse, watching his bubbly at being sent off was hilarious.
  23. That's the thing about Hughes TC, people judge him by how he speaks but he's actually a very switched on guy imo. Not convinced he would bring multiple public speaking gaffes either as I can't really think of any he has committed so far. As for a not very good manager his teams at Inverness and Falkirk punched waaaaay above their weight. Hell he took Inverness to 3rd in the season they won the Scottish Cup.
  24. Who does everyone fancy for it next? Clark will be the most popular choice but I would be surprised if he wants it. Wonder if the sfa will go back to Smith, it's the level of lack of imagination I have come to expect from them though, say what you like about Smith, he's good at what he does and would likely do well. Personally I would prefer someone who really wants the gig and (tin hat on) I was impressed with the passion for the role John Hughes showed just before eck got it. Plays nice football that would suit the current attacking options we have, gets his players onside and he's used to working with limited resources. Won't happen but he would be my choice.
