  1. We had a pop at Celtic at the san giro last month.
  2. Don't care, still want to go. I think AFC have reacted brilliantly throughout this whole mess and this is not the time for hissy fits. If the club were complicit then fair enough but there's a cup final up for grabs for goodness sake. Don't do that, don't tell me how well I saw that match. Attending that game was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life and I wouldn't swap any part of it, stadium included. I say again, to everyone reading this post. If you are able to attend this cup semi final against our most hated rival then I implore you to do so. Quite frankly, it's pretty fucking pathetic I should even have to be posting this.
  3. I was right behind the goal at the other end of the park the last time we beat oldco at hampden. The view was absolutely fine that evening I can assure you. In my opinion any aberdeen fan able to attend this match should do so regardless of the surrounding hyperbole. Our team will need us.
  4. Paaaaaaahahahhahaha. have a simmie.
  5. No I can't say I have.
  6. Laudrup was a fucking brilliant player, nothing more to add on that. Spencey was superb on RS this morning, proper got Campbell riled up. If anyone wants to hear it you'll get it on iplayer. Probably about 820 am.
  7. Ageed manc. Christie was much more consistent for us that season than Maddigol.
  8. I think Jim Traynor was a cunt long before that.
  9. My feeling on this is that we need to focus on the present and the future. The club needs to make a unified stance and hopefully get other clubs support too. I've been posting on this board for long enough for most to know that I'm no Milne sycophant but I'm not going to chastise him for previous failures when he's currently trying to do the right thing. I thought his statement was actually really good. Calm, reasonable, factual and as a result hard to ignore. Also not a concomitant or diktat in sight. Don't get me wrong I do understand where you are coming from I just don't think there is anything to be gained by dredging up the mistakes of the past.
  10. So, the consensus since the Mckenna appeal has been that the club need to respond to this and not just take it. Club responds from it's highest possible voice but now actually it's a bit rich coming from him? Is this honestly whats happening?
  11. No McKenna, what the actual fuck!
  12. That's a fairly decimated squad, surely a record for youth players in an 18 under dm
  13. Maybe they just like his books
  14. We have looked really solid and a threat at times. Arguably the better side, certainly want it more GMS is turning out to be a brilliant signing, he really is unplayable at times.
  15. We came closest to a goal in the entire game when ball hit the bar with a free kick....
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45682129 Dare I say it but I actually feel some sympathy for Doncaster after reading that. That said I still see no reason why the fixtures couldn't be played over 2 weekends.
  17. Och you'll go, I'll go.... Pretty much everyone who goes now will go. Football fans are addicts and we can't help ourselves. E.g. Mind when you caved on that season ticket DD?
  18. I wouldn't say I was a particular fan of levein teams but I certainly respect them for what they are. The man himself I've had a lot of time for ever since his calling referee bias after that game at mordor with utd. He's been pretty funny recently too.
  19. Boyota sent off and will be suspended as bookings the league cup count in the league ,Ajer injured so very possibly could miss. Who are they going to be playing at the back on Saturday I wonder...
  20. One thing I would say is for all hibs attacking forays Lewis didn't really have that much to do. Part of that is down to poor decisions and shooting from hibs but the other is down to some excellent defending. A team is built on it's defence and I can see this team really coming together the next month or so. Say what you like about DM but his teams really play for him, if we get a result on sat it's been a fantastic weeks work regardless of how pretty it has been. I'll take victories over aesthetics any day of the week.
  21. Good start for wilson, 1-0 dons
  22. He's had a depressingly good start manc, no question of that. Lets not get carried away though.
  23. If you don't see how it's out of date you didn't read the article very well. The point is it's far easier to travel and with modern football practices and coverage playing away in europe is no real hardship anymore. I.e. Away goals are outdated.
  24. It should be scrapped imo, out of date. Jonathon Wilson explains the why here if you world care to take a wee look Seebassit https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/mar/13/the-question-football-away-goals
  25. I'm not convinced GMS's at the end was a pen 2bh
